Gray And Camel Outfit-Winter Fashion

Welcome to my 25 Days of Winter Fashion! The weather is turning cold and dreary here in Kentucky and it’s going to get much colder over the next few days.

It’s time to start layering up and today I’m mixing gray and camel together with a gray cardigan from Nordstrom and a camel sweater from Loft.

The camel sweater (called soft oatmeal heather) is 40% off and comes in several colors.

I added this plaid oblong scarf that I recently received in my Stitch Fix box. The brand is Look M and I don’t think it can be found online.

The gray boyfriend cardigan is Madewell brand. The cardigan is a little pricey but it’s a basic wardrobe piece that I will keep for years.

I received this cardigan and my Treasure and Bond booties in my Trunk Box.

If you’re not familiar with Trunk Box, you can read about it here. My stylist is Erin, and she will pick out items for me every so often and ask if I want to see them. I love the service and so does my husband. Erin styles for him too!

We have talked about this a lot lately but this chunky block heel is on trend right now and I’m already seeing it on some spring shoes.

My handbag is Vince Camuto and it’s sold out. The bracelet I’m wearing is one of my go to bracelets. It’s a Kate Spade hinge bracelet and it goes with everything.

Lastly, my jeans are Articles of Society and they are a great pair of skinny jeans for $54. I wear them all the time!

What I’m Wearing

Loft Sweater (I’m wearing a small)//Madewell boyfriend cardigan (I’m wearing a small)//Treasure and Bond Booties (they run true to size)//Skinny Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)//Scarf (more options here, here and here)//Earrings//Watch//Bracelet

A good reminder for us today…don’t stop praying. Whatever is on your heart today, keep lifting it up in prayer.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love this outfit, Cyndi! Planning on trying something similar today, with a camel cardigan, grey tee and red plaid scarf. Thanks for the inspiration, as always. – Linn

  2. Cyndi:

You referred to a coat you have that you love from H&M a few weeks ago, but I can’t find that post anywhere. Could you possibly send me the link? I loved the look of it.

  3. I have always wondered if wearing a sweater over a sweater is “OK” …. Cardigan over a regular sweater… Thanks!! Now I may actually do it! 😉 Love the coziness of this outfit, and those boots are great, not too high, and classic. It is a cold 35* here in ETX today! (I am wearing grey jeggings and a burgundy open flowy cardigan over a white tee, black boots… anyway…. Thank you for helping us put together great outfits!!)
    Always praying….
    Joni

  4. Cyndi,

I am new to your blog and want to THANK YOU for all the wonderful fashion ideas, for keeping “real” with price points and for sharing your stories and reflections. Having switched from an outside sales role to a new position w/ a home office (and in a new state) my sense of fashion had taken a major nosedive. Now, thanks to you, I have new & fresh ideas in my head every day & am excited about stepping outside my office–even if it’s a Target run or school pick-up, LOL. From one pancake lovin’ household to another, thanks again!

  5. That is a great look for chilly weather. I don’t think it will work for me today, as the high is 9 degrees in Colorado. Ha..Don’t you love cooking for your grandson? It is my favorite thing to do when my grandchildren visit. I think I will order that camel sweater today..

  6. Very nice !! I could see myself wearing that ( minus the heels )
You look great and toasty warm !! Enjoy your pancake breakfast with your grandson.
I just had a grandson born in October ,I look forward to making him pancakes ,when he gets older of coarse 👶😊

  7. Hi Cyndi! I would have never thought to put camel and grey together. It looks very nice! Enjoy your time with Colt!

  8. Gray is everywhere this year. I work as Boutique Lady once a week or so in Stein Mart (mostly in the South I believe) and didn’t have a lot of gray until this year. I love the way you are styling the colors together with the scarf. Looks terrific on you!

  9. I love looking at how you put clothing together. I would have never thought about putting the oatmeal color sweater with the gray cardigan. I love your style so much! You’ve a blessed day!

    Thanks,
    Tammy Woody😀

  10. Each garment is in my wardrobe. So I will wear a copy tomorrow. Cause today it’s afternoon overhere.
In Germany its getting warm again, from about 20° up to about 50°. This outfit will be perfect.
Thanks for your reminder Cyndi, keeping in prayer and being thankful in all circumstances.
    Blessing Jeanne-Alice

  11. I used to have a curtain that separated the laundry from the bathroom that was grey & camel and my mom hated it. Even now when I try to style those two colors together for her for blog photos, she tells me they don’t go together!!
But see….this is a perfect example of how the colors look great!!
Thanks for proving my mom wrong, Cyndi!! ha ha!
