Beauty For the Heart~~There’s a lot to get done during the Christmas season but I want to make sure I spend time remembering the most important part of the season.

Luke 2:1-7 says, At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child. And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.

Let’s celebrate His birth today!

  1. Merry Christmas, Cyndi! I found your blog a little more than a year ago. I look forward to reading you every day. Thank you for sharing you ups and downs, your beautiful style, but most importantly HIS word. Thank you for being a beautiful ray of sunshine! Happy New Year to you and yours!

  2. Cyndi, you are beautiful both inside and out and I love your blog. But, when are we going to see your Christmas decor in your new home?

  3. Love all the outfits.I have the same question as Beverly about the boots? Enjoy your family and thank you for taking the time to share with us.

  4. Thanks so much for praying for us yesterday, Cyndi.
I’m living in Berlin. Now it came to us. We knew it but we thought it will not happen, never! If it happens once it will happen more. So till now in the other countries. They try to go through all the world. We will not let them killing us allover the world.
I was intending to visit this Christmas market on tuesday eve. A friend of me usually walks along the market every day on her way home from work. But not monday! Who knows why. She can’t understand what happened to her that she didn’t fortunately. The daughter of a neighbour was there and is still in the hospital, very bad.
We are laying flowers, we are praying … but we all feel like life change now. It pass the mind every second, whatever you do.

Thank you for your Blog. It even helps now and is a small comfort.

Peaceful Christmas for you and yours and for the friends of your blog.
    Blessing

  5. Thank you for all you do! Trying to up my game in the fashion area. We are pretty casual at our family get together but we go to a Vespers service before so we need to dress up just a bit. Thanks for the beautiful outfit inspiration. Be Blessed this Christmas season and enjoy your family time.

  6. Thanks for always sharing such beautiful outfits and ideas but importantly bringing it back to Christ whom we really celebrate here at Christmas!! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas in your new home this year!

  7. This may sound silly but we keep outfits casual but yet a little nicer. What I mean by that is that we may wear jeans but not sweatshirts, etc. We go to church with my in-laws on Christmas Eve so we make sure to be respectful of the church service and the reverence around the meaning of the season. It’s just a special event at the little country church we go to for Christmas Eve and I love it. We enjoy dressing for the occasion. For our church on Christmas Day (or the day close to celebrate Christmas) we dress up and usually get something new or try to dress up a notch from our normal church attire. I love all of your outfit suggestions and I am absolutely going to shop my closet for similar ideas. Merry Christmas!

  8. Thanks so much Cyndi for all of the cute holiday inspiration. I’m trying to plan my outfits for the next three days for work, I know what I’m wearing for the Christmas Eve service, but the weather is going to be a little warm here unfortunately. Have a great afternoon!!😊

  9. Thank you Cyndi! I so appreciate you posting these outfit ideas!! What a blessing! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  10. I love all these looks! Thamk you for the time you put into this site, I enjoy reading and getting different ideas from you.
We have the same coloring, hair and skin, however I am 64 years old but don’t think I dress like it. I have copied many of you looks!!
    Thank you sharing! Merry Christmas

  11. So cute! I have a large statement necklace similar to the one in the cream shirt but I love big earrings too, I try to only wear one. Usually my earrings win…….ha! Thanks also for including the petite lil model……love her outfit. That navy bell sleeve dress is TDF and necklace……omg I would wear in a heartbeat. Totally my style! I love to mix yin & yang also. Thanks for all the holiday inspiration! It is freezing here but my daughter said 70 on Christmas Eve is the forecast so not only do we have to have a sweater picked out , we need to have a lighter version top so we don’t burn up. I picked up another light weight version at Loft yesterday 40% off – the sale is still on and some cute small ones left for the ones interested. 🙂

  12. We keep it pretty casual around the holidays for our family gatherings, but I do love seeing all the beautiful clothes…maybe one day I’ll have something fancy to attend :). We are having church services on Friday night and Christmas Eve rather than our usualy Saturday night or Sunday services, and I plan on going on Friday night…I may wear something other than my usual jeans and a sweater since it is the holidays afterall, and you gave me some great outfit ideas. I’m looking forward to some vacation time away from work to recharge my battery and get ready for 2017.
I love the cream sweater with the sequin sleeves – comfort and bling! and those necklaces, and dresses – oh, I love them all :). Thanks for such beautiful inspiration!!

  13. Trying to keep my focus on Christ too. Just had funeral for mother in law yesterday and want joy! Just curious, what do you do and what meals do you do for Christmas Eve and Day?

  14. I really enjoy receiving your blog and seeing the outfits you put together. You have definitely influenced my wardrobe to the good! I am looking for the individual post for the black and white print dress (bottom row of your Holiday fashion picture set.) I love the dress but must have missed it somehow. Can you help me find the blog featuring it?

  15. I love the boots you are wearing with the navy swing dress and sweater scarf. They are the exact color I am looking for. Can you share where you found them? Thanks so much for the inspiration! Merry Christmas!

  16. Good Morning Cyndi,
Thanks for sharing this post just in time for the final countdown to the Christmas holidays! I have enough other things on my mind that worrying about what to wear is now checked off the list. I have enough inspiration from the above, and own some version of many of those items, that I’m all set. Thanks for being the blessing that you are! I love your hair longer, it suits you well, and I love your honesty in your posts….I wish you and your little family a very Merry Christmas and hope that your Sunday service is a joyous celebration! Kind Regards, Amy (Now off to finish these last 2 days of work until i have a much needed holiday break. I just returned from 2 weeks in China, so I’m tired but ready to wrap myself up in the love of family, friends, and God’s incredible gift)!
