CASUAL WINTER OUTFIT FORMULAS: Graphic Tee + Denim Jacket + Black Jeans

Happy hump day! Jo-Lynne and I are joining forces again this week to share another casual winter outfit. These are for women who are looking for casual outfits for running errands or working from home (or weekend wear).

Plus, our days are getting longer and we were able to take these after 5 o’clock. Yes! I was so excited!

  2. Great outfit! It saddens me people feel the need to share or judge others on your blog. Everyday you post inspirational messages to women. If I don’t feel the same way on a blog, I just remove my name from the listing.

    I was hoping you would share the color of your nail polish….it’s a perfect french/faux look that looks so natural. I am getting a little tired of going between my french manicure and lincoln park after dark by OPI.

  3. Wow!! I can’t help but have to comment back to TAM who was so rude to Cyndi. First, Cyndi DAILY makes life better for fellow humans. Her LOVE for JESUS shines out in her blog far more than her fashions she gives us. Second, she has been such a blessing to me since I started following her last Spring. God uses us in various ways to touch others lives and HE’s using Cyndi through fashion, as for most of us woman, we love fashion and want to know how to balance our outward beauty with our inward beauty and Cyndi is always focusing us toward inward beauty. I’m with the other ladies who have commented on your comments. If you don’t like fashion, then you don’t need to follow fashion blogs. Personally…. I think you owe Cyndi an apology. Thank you Cyndi for all you do for us woman and the LORD. We are blessed 🙂 I love the t-shirt. I almost bought it after Christmas in the store when it was on sale. Its so cute on you. I’m glad you got a peep of sunshine to model, in the dark days you said you’ve been having with your weather. Spring is coming!!!! Just another blessing from our LORD…..the changing seasons.   5. Super cute! Did you get your hair trimmed or something? It looks a little different, thicker or something. I like it! Says the girl with almost no hair, haha!!! I love that location. It looks so cute.

  6. It seems like you spend a lot of money on your clothes and a lot of time shopping. I know you try to encourage women to look and feel their best, but don’t you think a lot of women who read your blog feel the need to buy all these things to “keep up” with you and the latest fashions? It just seems really shallow…..sorry.

    If you haven’t seen it already, I would encourage you to watch a documentary called “The True Cost”. It’s on Netflix or you can watch it online. It will change the way you think about “fast fashion”.

    Don’t you think it would be better to focus on making life better for our fellow humans? Maybe take some of that clothing money and give to women’s/children’s shelters or a food bank?

    1. Tam, this is Cyndi’s job. She doesn’t expect her readers to buy as many clothes as she does. She just gives is options for different outfits that might work for us. She does a great job of showing different price points too. I know she gives away many of the things she purchases for the blog. I am always encouraged by her Beauty for the Heart and focus on inner beauty as well as outward beauty. If you think fashion is frivolous, then no need to read this blog.

      1. I couldn’t have said it better, Mary. Cyndi does donate a lot of her clothing. She also always says beauty is from the inside. I’m not sure why you’re following a beauty/ style blog if you feel this way, Tam.
        Sorry, I just felt the need to put my two cents in.

    2. Tam, I agree with Mary. I have a huge closet full of clothes already, however with Cyndi’s gorgeous style I can pull together a darking outfit with items I already have, and maybe just purchase one item that I can use for many styles. I also used her ideas for Christmas presents.

      Cyndi, without a doubt, has made my life better not only from her styles, but her spiritual inspirations.

    3. Tam, Cyndy probably gets a big discount on the clothes she shows on her blog or she gets them complimentary! Or she makes enough money by the companies she features that she can afford her clothes, which are VERY affordable compared to many bloggers. Besides, Cyndi does so much more for her readers than show pretty clothes! I think you have chosen the wrong person to speak to this way. She has too many regular readers who love her and will defend her “to the death”. LOL

  7. Hi Cyndi, I love this outfit, it’s perfect for busy mum’s running errands, shopping, having a coffee with a friend or just working from home.
    Yay our days are getting longer too here in the UK, , it was well after 5 today when darkness fell, everyday it stays a little bit lighter, I’m so ready for Spring. It’s been a beautiful sunny day today also.

  14. So glad you styled a casual Tshirt today, because it reminded me of my favorite”thank ya Jesus” tshirt that I need to replace. I was doing laundry one day and a few drops of bleach got on it and now it’s ruined 😢 I sure hope I can get another one. I also wanted to say how cute your pictures are and I love this area of town where you’ve taken pics before. I always wondered where it is and how far a drive it is from where you live? It reminds me of the small town in Texas (Georgetown) where my sister lives, a few hours north of where I live in San Antonio. It has a town square and nice little shops and I really enjoy spending time there. Have a great day!

  17. Love the look, I too live in a small town in Central Fl, which means a lot of northerners, which means a lot of flower print shirts and baggie capries. So for me I love to throw a little class in how I dress, even if its just going to walmart, which is a fashion show in itself HAHA

I have a long sleeve one with detachable fur collar and a short sleeve one I wear over maxi dresses in the Summer or Spring – I wore mine over a slouchy dress that had elongated pockets to work a couple weeks ago. You look fab in your cute graphic tee & jean jacket outfit!

    I really like that you’re showing black jeans here instead of just blue jeans!
    I know we all have blue jeans (even my mom who is my 70’s model on the blog), but sometimes I think they are almost too casual when paired with a t-shirt. Is that silly or old fashioned?

    1. Me too – I am not a T-shirt fan mostly because of the rounded neck which does not look good on me. I prefer a V-neck or something with a slight scoop. I think my face is too round for standard t-shirts. They are super cute on many ladies though.

  20. Fun outfit – comfy too I imagine. I could actually see wearing this to work on Friday, and church on Saturday night – we have the option to attend on Saturday nights and I LOVE it. I don’t mind gray and black :).
