Tan Sweater with Spring Booties

Happy hump day! Let me begin with my Essential Oil Class on Thursday, February 16th at 7:00 pm. My sister and I are using a platform called Zoom.

This will be live and it will be at my home. You’ll be able to ask questions (by typing them) and we are going to share Oily Basics with the oils below.

We won’t be able to replay it, but if it goes well, we will have another one, I promise! Click this link to sign up! (We may have to limit the number so if you’re coming, go ahead and sign up!)

Yesterday I stopped by my sister’s house and I got to see these two sweet kiddos. This is Eli and Sania (my sister’s two youngest children). It’s kind of obvious that I’m crazy over my niece and nephew, right?

Styling a tan sweater with bootiesI am a fan of neutrals so I ordered this sweater in tan but it comes in several different colors. It’s a great sweater for the changing seasons and it’s on sale for $35.

The ONLY thing is they fit a little low in the back on me and I notice it most when I sit down. It might be because that’s where I carry my weight but it’s fine as long as my top comes down in the back.

I would give these jeans a 4 star!

  1. I signed up for the Essential oils webinar, but have not received any link or information on how to connect???
    Help…it’s almost 7 pm!

  2. Hi Cyndi,

I want to learn more about essential oils also, do you have to have zoom to watch this? And if so, could you send me the link. Or anyone else. Thank you.

    Nancy

  3. Please have another webinar on Essential Oils soon. I will be at church this evening and not able to watch. Thanks so much!

  4. Please offer the Essential Oils webinar again and soon! I’ll be at church tonight and not able to watch. Thanks so much!

  5. Your Beauty From the Heart was exactly what I needed to hear today. I didn’t get a chance to read this yesterday when you posted it. I guess God knew I would need it more today! Thank you.

  6. Looking forward to the webinar Thursday evening!! Very interested to learn about the benefits of essential oils!

    Love your blog!

  7. Love the outfit. Your niece and nephew are very cute. Thank you for sharing, the quote was also much needed to read!😊

  8. Always love your style! Have you ever tried “Earth” shoes/booties? I had Earth shoes when I was in Junior High and never forgot how comfortable they were. Chicago living had me wearing fur-lined earth boots. I honestly should throw out all of my other shoes. They are pricier than what I normally spend on shoes, but they are as comfortable, if not more so than my skechers and my Intrepid booties have a lower heel, in a trendy shoe, which is even more wonderful. People literally stop me on the street and ask me about my booties! I am looking at cute gladiator sandals and wedges for spring, but have worn my open toe, mesh natural color and black booties all winter here in Tennessee. I ordered mine from Amazon, but they have them at boot stores, such as Elliots and Zappos. You are so adorable and I appreciate your posts, I just had to share this amazing find in a shoe that is heaven!

  9. Your niece and nephew are adorable. Could you share your sisters blog name.? I think you did last year, but I can’t find it. I’d like to follow it. Love the look you have today. I can’t wear that high of a heel, even though I’m short, but love the 2nd lower option you showed. I have a similar sandal though, so probably won’t order. Anxious to wear spring clothing, but still too cold and rainy here in the Northwest. Looking forward to your Spring series to come. 🙂

  10. is the class only for people who want to sign up to sell or for people who just want to know more about essential oils. I’m interested in learning about some of the oils and the benefits. Do you sell individual oils?

    1. It’s for people who want to know abut essential oils. I don’t sell the oils but you can purchase them through Young Living. I’ll have that info, tonight.
      Cyndi

  11. I was just looking at the booties. Three reviewers stated to size down 1/2 size.

What do you think of the fit? Did you go down 1/2 size as well?

Your niece and nephew are adorable. Y’all are lucky to live so close together!

  12. I like your hair style ( not saying you changed it ) but I thinks it’s pretty. I’m contemplating that look for myself.

  13. Love your blog and this look!
Tomorrow is my birthday so I will be out to dinner celebrating with my family at 7:00. I hope you will do another class.

    Blessings

  14. Cute cute cute niece and nephew!! 7pm EST is only 5pm for us in Colorado so I won’t be home to join in on the call. Have fun!

  15. I want to listen to the program. A Bible study is going on at the same time at a nice man’s home. If I don’t listen afterall, that is why. I may go to that session since it is my turn to teach for the next three Sundays. The discussion would help me with my teaching.

  16. love this look, I’m a fan of neutrals too! I want these shooties :).
Yes, Traci has cute kiddos! I love her family and have followed her adoption journey for a while – she inspires me to keep the faith.
Thanks for the reminder today – sometimes I struggle to find my place, esp. at church as I’m struggling finding an area in which to serve. I keep trying different things and will hopefully find my spot soon.

  17. I’m dying to order those peep toe booties but I’m afraid the heel is just a bit too high to be comfy for long? What do you think? Looking forward to the EO webinar and getting some tips. Happy Wednesday!

    1. Try Earth shoes “Intrepid” booties. They are the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. They are peep toe and mesh upper, with a LOWER heel. They are more comfortable than any of my flats, tennis shoes or Skechers! A little pricey, but I can wear them absolutely all day and I get sooooo many compliments and comments on them. Good luck!

  18. What a darling picture of your niece and nephew! Love, love your new niece’s story!! I have been following your sister’s blog!!! What a God send!! Your outfit is so cute, as always! I just signed up for your webinar and look so forward to it!
    Have a blessed day!

  19. Hi Cyndi! I love that sweater – I am a fan of neutrals too! I would like to find out more about essential oils but I’m not a tech person so not sure if I’d be able to watch the class or not… what format are you on? Can you tell me a ballpark price for the essential oils kit? I didn’t see that information.

    thank you!
    Angie

  20. Cyndi, I love the sweater. I also have a fair complexion and brown hair. I always feel washed out in this color. But you do not looked washed out. What is your technique? Is there a certain undertone you look for or a certain color of make up you use? thanks.
