Navy Top and Floral Pants

Happy hump day! Last week, I styled these floral pants with a striped top and today I’m styling them with a navy top. I think options are a good thing and I like to mix and match.

If you don’t like wearing sleeveless tops, I like this and this top. I have also included them in the thumbnail pictures below.

Navy Top and Floral Pants

Navy Top and Floral PantsNavy Top and Floral PantsThese block heel pumps are from Target. I have been wanting the Steve Madden block heel but opted for the less expensive option.

I know I have said this several times but this spring it’s all about earrings. These pom pom earrings are from BaubleBar and so fun to wear. They’re super light too! Check out all they’re cute earrings here.

Navy Top and Floral PantsCan’t wait until our weather warms up so I can wear this outfit! Banana Republic is having a 50% off sale when you purchase 5 regular priced items. This would be a good time to stock up on spring work wear.

Make sure you stop by and see what Jo-Lynne is styling today for our spring series!

Beauty for the Heart~~But here is how God has shown his love for us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

I don’t spend time in God’s word to check it off my to do list. I spend time in His word because I need it! It’s life to my soul. I refuse to stay the way I was yesterday or the way I am today. I want to be more like Christ everyday.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, I tried those exact same shoes on today as well as the Steve Madden shoes. I loved them, but my feet slide down in both of them. Still looking…👡😊

  2. I am loving your floral pants!! Such a great look for spring. I don’t shop at BR frequently, but it looks like I need to start!

  3. It makes me happy to see you wearing a printed pant. I bought a pair last spring and wore them once or twice but I seemed the only one in them. I’m pulling them out and strutting out in black & white floral. I’ll tell them Cyndi gave me the heads up. 😉

  4. Hi Cindy,
    I love the outfit.
Can you tell me if you will be doing a spring office wardrobe again?
    thank you

    1. I’m not doing a spring one but I might do a summer work wear. I really want to do this but it’s huge amount of work for me (I know it doesn’t look like it) and I have to make sure I have the extra time.

  5. I have a question. I am going to Aruba on a company trip soon and I am working on my wardrobe selections. I bought some bright multi-colored palazzo pants and I am wondering what kind of top to wear with them? I am 5’3″, average weight, I would say pear shape, definitely short-wasted. I always have issues when trying to find a top to go with these kind of comfy pants. I would love your opinion. Thanks!

  6. Cyndi ~ have you been through the AYW course??
( Adore Your Wardrobe )… I’m taking it now it’s fabulous! Just curious!

  7. Hi Cyndi, Love your outfit today and I especially love your purse. It is exactly what I have been looking for – size and color. I know it is from Stitch Fix, but would you please share the brand name of the purse?

    Kind Regards,
    Kristie

  8. Cyndi, Love the navy with the floral pants. I wear a lot more navy since following your blog. I find it a better neutral for me than black, with my fair coloring. I have the sleeveless, eyelet, navy blouse from Loft you styled last Spring and even the white one. Can’t wait to pull them out again this year. Thanks for the devotion. It was wonderful. I’m in a bible study where there is 5 days of homework and it takes quite a long time to complete. I have found myself getting into it to get it finished before our next study with the ladies. But, once I get into God’s word, its so powerful, feeding my soul, I end up with a different mind set. Its alway good to be reminded why we study God’s word. I want to be more like HIM. Bless you for all you do to encourage woman. 🙂

  9. love it all… fabulous Spring look. I love your toe and nail polish! Can you share what color and brand that is?

    1. My toe polish is Opi Alpine Snow. I share how I have my nails done here>>https://www.cyndispivey.com/2015/07/16/lets-talk-nails/

  10. Beautiful sentiment in beauty for the heart; spending time with God certainly nourishes the soul as we become all of who we are…blessings…oh and yes, love love the navy outfit!!

  11. Can you show or tell how you organize your jewelry? I’m running out of room as I buy more cute pieces I’m seeing you and Jo-Lynne wear 🙂

    1. Lori I wish I could say I am organized but I’m not. I have my jewelry in several different places in my house. If I get it organized, I promise I’ll show you!

  12. I LOVE THIS!! Can be Work or Dress Casual!!

Today is International Woman’s Day…thank you to all the women who help make this World go around!!

    Have a GREAT day!!

    XO

  13. Yes! This is a very nice looking outfit Cyndi. My don’t mix patterns brain likes this look a lot.

Enjoy the time with your precious niece, grandson, and nephew.

    Blessings!

  14. Beautiful outfit–feminine, yet tailored! I love the pink/blush tote that picks up the pink in the pants.

  15. I absolutely love this look! Here in West Texas is still a look cold; hopefully it warms up more so we can start wearing Spring clothes. Have fun with the kids, a d thanks for the beauty for the ❤️ reflections, they are beautiful!

  16. I’m like you and don’t like sleeveless tops, unless I have a cardigan or blazer over it. But I live it Texas so they are a must have. Enjoy your day with the kids. They are a joy to be around at this age ☺️

  17. Love that outfit! The navy top is great! I do like a little sleeve but sometimes if I put the self tanner on the underside of arm more it looks firmer, a trick I learned from a friend. Thanks for posting options and the pompom earrings are darling!

  18. Did you ever style or talk about the shirt you purchased from Shein? I’ve been watching for it and haven’t seen it. I’m curious to know what your experience was since they are priced so cheap. Thanks.

  19. I love your Beauty for the Heart….”refuse to stay the way I was yesterday or today”. I love it!! And I agree with you. I don’t read my Bible and do my devotions just to check it off my list. I do it as a fresh start to my day looking to see what God has chosen for me to hear today. I sit down excited to see what He is going to help me with today. I love early morning quiet times. It makes my day go so much smoother. I love the outfit today. I’m getting a little antsy and think I need to go shopping! Love the floral crop/ankle pants!!! Beautiful ensemble!! All of it!

  20. I like navy blue – I think it’s a great option to black, and personally, on me, it’s a softer look which I need as I get older. Don’t get me wrong, I like my black clothes, but I was advised by a stylist to incorporate more navy in to my wardrobe so there is that too :). I also like a pant with a print especially in the spring and summer – it’s fun, and can be dressed up or down. What you have shown here is a great look!

  21. Great look! I also love the Fringe trim top that you included. Your nails look wonderful – did you do them yourself and what color is that?

  22. Did you get a new haircut, Cyndi? Or, is it just curled? Love it…. please share how you styled it. Cute outfit too.

  23. I always think your nails look great! You shared your fingernail routine, but is that a colored polish on your toenails, or French? Thanks!

  24. Pretty outfit! Thanks for mixing the budget friendly pieces with the more pricey ones. It’s always nice to have options. You look beautiful!
