How To Wear Palazzo Pants for Spring

Palazzo pants are super wide-leg, loose, flowing pants. Palazzo pants are amazing because they’re so incredibly comfortable. They’re ideal for warm weather because they’re so light.

How To Wear Palazzo Pants for SpringLet’s talk about what to wear with palazzo pants. It’s important to balance palazzo pants with structure and shape on top. Because they’re flowy and wide on the bottom it’s important to stay fitted and short up top, otherwise you’ll look out of balance.

How To Wear Palazzo Pants for SpringThe brand I’m wearing is Bar III from Macy’s. I really like this brand of clothing because it’s contemporary and trendy but it’s reasonably priced. The top and pants are on sale right now and you check out on the Bar III clothing here.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. If you don’t want to miss a post, you can sign up to receive my daily emails and you’ll never miss a thing. I’m also on FacebookPinterest and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart~~I woke up this morning to quite a shock. Jo-Lynne and I have a Facebook group for Women over 40. We show outfits and share prayer concerns. One of the ladies that was in our group suddenly passed away from a heart attack yesterday.

She has been reading my blog for years. She’s a pastor’s wife here in Kentucky and although we have never met in person, I felt like I knew her. She was always emailing me and encouraging me in my faith (she was several years older than me).

Her daughter had recently given birth to a baby girl and she was so excited.

I am reminded again how short our life is here on earth. Make the most of each day because we never know if today is our last day.

What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Philippians 3:8a

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi, God only knows the Cross you have had to carry in the last 6 mo with loss of dear ones. My prayers are with you all sweetie. Having a great family at home and church and most of all our Great God will bring you thru this time. 💕

  2. Thinking of you with the lose of your dear friend. My friend is a pastors wife and I know the difficulties there are for her. I pray comfort for you and your friends family. God will continue to bless you with your friends words of wisdom. You look great in your outfit. Last year I bought white palazzo pants in petite at Macy’s and only wore them two times. I am only 5’3″ and felt dumpy especially with skinny jeans in style. You get use to that look with longer tops. I figured out the shorter top is the key. I just need more in my closet. I found out the tops that tie or sinch to the side work too. Thanks for reminding me to pull them back out and try them again. You look so cute in yours. Love the top too. Blessings.

  3. I’m so very sorry for the loss of your friend. I will definitely say a prayer for her family and all of the lives that she’s touched which I’m sure is many. Like the bible says we are never promised a tomorrow and we do need to make the best of each day we are given. Every single day we are given is a gift. On a lighter note you look really cute in the outfit today (when do you not 🙂 ) and I have a pair of palazzo pants from summer before last and I’ve been wondering if they’re still in or not.

  4. Cyndi,I think being a pastors wife may be one of the most difficult. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend and mentor. Please be encouraged that God has given you such a sweet personality and will sustain you and your husband in your calling.

  5. I don’t tend to comment very often but just have to on this outfit…you look fabulous! It’s one of my very favorites of all I’ve seen you wear. I have decided I need to stay away from sleeveless as much as possible but it’s hard living in the deep south!!! I do love this top, however. I am so sorry about your friend. Lately my hometown has seemed to have lost so many. Most recently a young friend, age 44, and friend of my son’s….leaving a young wife and 10 year old twins. My heart is just broken. You are so right about life being short.

  6. Great message today! Your friend will be missed. She always had a smile, and was a joy to “our” group!

  7. Cyndi,

I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. I’ve heard that being in ministry, especially as a pastor’s wife, can be lonely and hard. The colors looked so good on you! If you have time, checkout my blog! 😉

  8. You always look classy but especially so in this top. The mock turtle neck is perfect! Sorry for the loss of your friend in ministry.

  9. Cyndi you look beautiful in this outfit! Love the who thing! I’m so sorry about your friend passing. I too lost a friend by violent murder last week and its been so hard. We know God is holding them now, but its still so hard to lose them.

  10. I am so sorry that you suddenly lost your good friend and encourager in the Lord. Praying for peace and comfort to all those whose lives she touched. That color looks great on you. I’m not sure that “hippy” girls can wear palazzo pants, but maybe I will give them a try someday. Blessings!

  11. The sudden loss of a loved one is always so difficult. My prayers are with her family and with you and others who knew her in a special online group. What a blessing that she encouraged you during her short life. I think as believers, we tend to forget that in the grand scheme of things….it really isn’t going to be that long before we see our loved ones who have gone “home”….and what a reunion it will be! Blessings to you and your ministry.
    AND….love the outfit. 😊💕

  12. Cyndi,

I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. I’ve heard that being in ministry, especially as a pastor’s wife, can be lonely and hard. What a gift she must have been to you. I pray that God will comfort your heart as well as her family’s and that in time He will provide someone else who can encourage you the way she did.

(On a side note, this is a cute and fun outfit, and that color looks great on you.)

  13. I completely understand your affinity and heart for fellow bloggers you’ve never met, but feel like friends. I often refer to you and Jo-Lynne as my “blogger friends” and I enjoy following your lives as much as your fashion posts. So I know your heart is stunned and aching today in the loss of your friend. My heart aches for you and Jo-Lynne, too. I pray that the Lord will tenderly show you sweet compassion as He also comforts her family and close, personal friends.

    Blessings to you!

  14. Hi Sweet Cyndi! I’m truly sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that we care!
Your outfit looks adorable on you! And that top is so unique! Almost looks “Futuristic”!

  15. Sorry to hear about your friend. I agree that memories are the best things to keep, instead of stuff.

I really like your top. Palazzo pants generally don’t look good on me, but you’ve inspired me to give them another try. Maybe with the right shirt I can knock it out of the park like you did!

  16. So sorry for the loss of your friend. There are no words to take away the pain of loss but the scriptures bring so much comfort. 🙏🏻

  17. So sorry to hear of your friends passing…prayers for her family. As a fellow pastor’s wife, I know the path you walk very well! Us sisters have to stick together! I love your blog and you look adorable!

  18. Dear Cyndi, so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of a friend that you and Jo-Lynne held close to your hearts.

Life is so precious! May God give her family strength to face the days ahead.

    What a cute outfit!

    Blessings

  19. I am so sad for your loss and the family of this lovely lady. I am so comforted though to know that she will be spending eternity with the Lord. You and all of her family will be in my prayers. Thank you for your Beauty of the Heart today. I needed to hear it today. Thank you so much for all you do. 🙂

  20. I’m sorry to hear that you lost such a friend and good support. She sounds like a wonderful, caring lady that will be missed by many. This is a good time to remind people to live their life, help others, appreciate what you have and please, smile. We rush through life not always enjoying the day and all it’s beauty.

  21. My heart goes out to you and her family, scripture today couldn’t have said it better.
Your outfit today is just so elegant, you have a wonderful gift of putting these outfits
together. I read one of your comments awhile back, she said you would look good
in a burlap bag, I laughed because I thought the same thing!!
    Have a blessed day Cyndi!!

  22. I’m in the Fashion over 40 group, and although I rarely comment and have never posted a pic, I love to see all of the smiling faces and outfit ideas every day. Although I’m only 37 (oops!) I have been especially encouraged by the older ladies in the group and the way they care for the younger women and share their faith and fashion with boldness. Lifting up Suzanne’s family in prayer today, and so very thankful for her years of ministry on earth!

The palazzo pants, by the way, are super cute!

  23. On a different note I love wearing Palazzo pants , never really thought about the kind of top to wear with them now I will be changing my tops. Thank you

  24. I’m so sorry about the loss of your friend and thank you for reminding us that everyday is a gift and we need to always be present.
The outfit is so cute on you but since I’m petite, those pants are usually too long and not flattering on me 😒

    1. Gloria, I too am very short 5′. I found petite palazo pants and I love them. Try you may be surprised

  25. So sorry for your loss. I so appreciate you addressing the palazzo pants issue! I had emailed you and was waiting for your opinion before I decided to have them hemmed! I paired a similar top with mine, short and a little flowy. Thanks for your words, your wisdom and your style!

  26. So sad to hear about your friends death. We tend to forget that we are not promised any certain length of time. But it doesn’t lessen the impact when someone passes so suddenly. The good news is she is with Christ and her family will be reunited with her one day.

I have tried on palazzo pants but the ones I tried had a lower waist and just didn’t feel right. If I could find some with a higher waist I might try them again. They look great on you and I LOVE those colors!

    Have a blessed day.

  27. I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. Another example of why we need to live each day with joy….none of us know God’s plan. This outfit today is adorable! Love it!

  28. So sorry for your loss! Thanks for being real and sharingnd for that averse!
PS. I really like that outfit that you are styling!

  29. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. Often times God places people in our lives to guide, steer, direct and encourage one another in the faith and their faith journey. Cherish the words that you received from her and engrave them on your heart for future times that you might need to embrace those same words again.
I’m sure you will be passing along to others the wisdom and words that she shared with you!

  30. Oh Cyndi, I am SO sorry to hear about your friends passing … my heart aches for y’all! (((HUGS))) Praying for peace/comfort.

I LOVE LOVE this outfit … as always, you look stunning! XOXO

    Kathy

  31. Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. 🙁 That is so hard. I will be praying for her family.
Love the verse today and how that is. I read your blog everyday and never miss as I look forward to the styles you post and the wonderful scriptures that are so inspiring to me!! You are a blessing.
Thank you for having a wonderful blog. Love the outfit, you look so pretty! 🙂

  32. From one pastor’s wife to another, ministry is hard but there is much joy in the journey. As I am several years older than you, Cyndi, I realize that more and more as the years go by. I enjoy your blog and especially Beauty for the Heart.

  33. I’m so very sorry for the loss of your friend. May God bless you and your friends family during this difficult time.
The outfit you’re styling today is very nice, I would love to find the palazzo pants in a dark solid color.

  34. Cyndi, She was a very special friend for sure, and will be missed by many. What a pretty outfit! I have a couple pair of palazzo pants and love them. As you stated, they are extremely comfortable. I do struggle with the correct top to wear with them, but I’m learning.

    Love the scripture today.

    Peace be with you!

  35. I’m so sorry to hear the bad news about your friend. On a cheerier note your outfit is fantastic! I do have pallazo pants and the only downside is the high wedges I have to wear . To pull this look off I need high so have to change shoes mid day but petite people get use to changing shoes a lot. :). I especially love the top!!! So very cute!

  36. Very sorry to hear about your FB friend – and yes understand, these days we can be friends with folks we never meet in person. I hope her family finds peace and comfort in the days ahead.

As for the palazzo pants – you have pulled together a fantastic look! Love everything about this.

  37. Very sorry for the loss of your friend. Always a reminder of how very precious our days are.

Really love this outfit and look. The top comes in several shades… Definitely trying this look for spring.
