Spring Coat + Bell Sleeve Blouse

Good morning! Thank you all so much for all your sweet comments on my post yesterday with Courtney. You are so encouraging for her as a new blogger and I can’t thank you enough. It means a lot!

Today I’m styling this spring coat from Old Navy that I had mentioned in February. I love the light color, it doesn’t have a lining which I prefer, but for the price I thought it was cute.

Believe it or not it was cloudy when we took these pictures but I’m still squinting!

I love a big bell sleeve and this top does not disappoint! I wore this outfit to church on Sunday and it was perfect for an early spring day.

The necklace I have on is sold out but this one from Ann Taylor is on sale and looks cute too. I have the necklace and I should have worn it in these pictures.

My jeans are from White House Black Market and unfortunately they don’t have many sizes left. These are a slim pant, not skinny.

My handbag is Sole Society and is BACK IN STOCK! WOO HOO!

I love all the feminine blouses this spring!

SHOP THE POST: Bell Sleeve Top (I’m wearing a small)//Loft Cami//Jeans (size down)//Slide Sandal (order 1/2 size down)//Old Navy Coat (I’m wearing a small)//Necklace (sold out but this one would look good)//Handbag

Beauty for the Heart~~Sometimes when I’m unsure about something such as a decision I need to make, I always read Proverbs 3:5-6,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

So thankful he will show me the path to take!

Have a blessed day!

    1. I love the color of this shirt. It is so pretty! You look really nice today and thank you for the beauty for the heart. 🙂

  1. Cyndi – you are the “bell” of the ball! 🙂 You look great and I too am crushing on all the bell sleeves this spring.

  2. At first I wasn’t sure if i’d like bell sleeves for me and I’ll have to go to Nordstrom and try it on just to be sure but the more I look at it , I’m really liking it. It looks fabulous on you but I have short arms so i’m not sure. Of course saying I need to try it on could just be an excuse for me having to go shopping 😉 Thanks for the biblical verse too, the concept of my free will and God’s will has been coming up quite a bit these past few days for me…coincidence? I don’t think so! Have a blessed day!

  3. Cyndi you motivated me. I bought a bell sleeve blouse to match a super fancy lace skirt. I’ll have to post a pic when it comes in!! You look lovely!!

  4. I do love a white coat, Cyndi!! I have one from years ago although I probably should bleach it now–ha ha!
The sleeves on these blouses are so pretty. Do you find that they get in the way at all with life? I have one that the sleeves have a very small flare, but nothing as big as the one you’re wearing!

  5. Proverbs 3:5-6 is one of my favorite verses. When I am stressed about something and wish God would work a certain way I try to always repeat this verse to myself as a reminder that I can trust Him and that I can’t rely on my understanding but rather His! Thank you for the reminder today! Happy Spring!

    1. agree that this passage is such a tremendous stress reliever. having the Supreme Creator in our corner at the times of difficult decisions is such a WoNDer an true wow!!! something to be so thankful.

  6. Hi Cyndi- I ordered this coat about a month ago and love it! The material reminds me of upholstery curtains…lol but for the price it’s perfect for Spring! It looks great on you!

  7. Beautiful blouse and at a good price! I love the color and the fact that you can wear it with jeans or for a special occasion. Beauty for the Heart, was just what I needed today, as I’m going on a job interview this afternoon. Thanks for sharing!

  8. Love the outfit and the coat. How do you put your coat on over the bell sleeves without to much fusing and wrinkles? Do you fold them up with help putting on your coat?

    1. This top doesn’t wrinkle hardly at all. I had worn it all day when I took these pictures and I think it looks pretty good.
      Hope that helps!

  9. Love this outfit Cyndi…..can you tell me what size you bought in the top? And did you say the shoes run true to size? I think I will pick up both today. Those shoes are my typical “go-to” all spring and summer.

    Have a wonderful day!

    1. I’m wearing a small in the top and I’m wearing a 7 in the shoe. I typically wear a 7 1/2 so size down 1/2 size
      Hope that helps!

  10. Loved that coat when you talked about it earlier this year – and I even tried it on but on my 5’2 self I just felt it was too long and looked awkward – but like you, I thought it was a great piece for the price. Thanks for the encouraging words today – much needed right now.
