The Perfect Blouse for Spring

We have made it to the weekend friends! Our weather is warming up and this is the perfect blouse for a spring day in Kentucky.

I love the drape front on this blouse because you don’t have to worry about tucking it in and it lays perfectly. The blouse doesn’t wrinkle and it has a 3/4 sleeve length.

I also like that the blouse hangs longer in the back area.

Beauty for the Heart~~“Expect to encounter adversity in your life, remembering that you live in a deeply fallen world.”

Wow, how true is that? Adversity is a part of our life but that adversity can draw us closer to Jesus.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

Have a blessed day!

  1. I am loving this look, and your hair is looking great! I have actually registered for your speaking engagement in London, KY, and I am super excited about it!

  2. They are always sold out of everything you ever post. Maybe they should order more of a style if you are going to show it. It is very frustrating as a frequent reader.I have never been able to buy something you style because they are unavailable!

  3. Love the blouse – looks great ! I also tried to shop – no luck at the site ?? Maybe sold out ? What is the name of it ? Thank you !

  4. Can’t get to the site for the blouse- get oops page not found!?
Loved the blouse best of all tops you’ve worn and was excited to try, but no luck.

  5. Love the blouse and color, but I know if you are wearing the small, then it would be too long for me, as I’m way shorter. Bummer. I would have ordered. Plus, I find with Glamour Farms, I order if it says contemporary fit, not missy fit. Then I think they are more for shorter/petite people. Love the whole look and you look great in all the pictures. I’ve always wondered though…… when you take the pictures of crossing the street, how do you time that and does it feel awkward with people watching the photo shoot? 🙂 Just wondering. Have a great day.

  6. Love the outfit. Especially the top. I haven’t been able to try any of the Glamour Farm items yet because every time I go on their site, the item is sold out. Very frustrating. They must be a small company? Do not seem to have a lot of inventory I guess. Will keep trying, maybe one day.

  7. Hi Cyndi. One thing that frustates me many times is when something you are wearing is sold out, not available, or does not have my size. A lot of times Glamour Farms is sold out of the items you are modeling.

  8. Great casual, yet cute outfit. I’m loving your longer hair. I thought it was really cute when it was shorter, but love this length. 🙂 Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend.

  9. Hi Cyndi,
Adorable and ordered!! I love GF! Any chance on asking them about reducing their shipping? $7.99 for one item seems a bit steep. I just bought those at Target. After seeing your adorable shoes in other posts – I grabbed them!
I look forward to your blog everyday!
    Blessings –
    Sandi

  10. I’m wearing this blouse in the wine color with a tan cami, jeans and leopard print Lace up flats! 😁 I must be learning some fashion from you after following your blog for several years now. Happy Friday from Alabama!

  11. LOVE this cute outfit… I love silk blouses with jeans, they just fall in all the right places. You are looking very pretty on this Spring Day. Yes, I am loving our KY weather!!! Here is Jackson, it is gorgeous and in between all my wedding preparations and planning for my daughter, Olivia, I am catching some rays too. My daughter is cheating.. going to the tanning bed. LOL God Bless…..

  12. Oh, I really like this blouse. Many tops you style from Glamour Farms are too young & cutsy but this is one I would buy. It would be great for travel. Are you wearing a Camille underneath?

  13. Love the blouse, especially with the contrasting white, I love dusty, muted colors with crisp white, I think I’ll have to order one before their gone. Great weekend outfit for day or the evening out to dinner and a movie 🙂

  14. Love love the blouse and the way it drapes in the front and the longer back! Looks wonderful on you!And agree with the comment above….your hair is perfect!

  15. I’m a fan of that entire look – so comfy, and no ironing – yes please! So, I have to say, the 5th picture of you on this post made me giggle – you look like you’re up to no good, or you’re giving Wayne the “evil eye” in that photo and it is a different expression for you. It’s a great photo – just made me laugh – literally.
The verse today hit home. While it’s nothing terrible, my daughter is almost finished with her BS degree (July – yay!!!), and she has been interning and hoping to be hired by the same company. They met with her this week – we were hoping for a full-time, permanent job offer – and she did get and offer, but it was to extend her internship, which isn’t bad IMO. I keep telling her to have faith – our heavenly Father has his plan, and while not worrying is difficult I keep telling her to focus on the goal – finishing school and doing well….the rest will come. His plans for us exceed our thoughts everyday.

  16. I love the color of this blouse but I’m not sure I like how the front lays? I think I’d always be wanting to adjust the drapes. Your hair looks amazing in these pictures! It’s grown out beautifully and all your layers fall in the right places.
Have a wonderful weekend and I need to remind my husband about our taxes too 😩
P.s. I couldn’t get to the less expensive option for the jeans?

  17. Beautiful outfit on you. I wish that top came in other colors. I find those muted colors so hard to wear. Love the necklace too!

  18. Very cute blouse. Love, love, love not having to iron. Enjoy your beautiful weather this weekend! Blessings.

  19. There are many times that I can’t figure out if I should tuck in my shirt or leave it out—so it’s nice to have the decision made for you with this top!!
And I love the statement necklaces—even my mom & Nancy (the 70’s & 60’s models on the blog) have a few like these—so I think they work for all ages!! I hope they never go out of style!
