Well, I’m a little giddy about the fall fashion series that starts this Saturday. Jo-Lynne and I will be sharing fall fashion and trends for 25 days in September (every day except Sundays).
I can’t believe it’s almost September 1st! Since we are gearing up for fall, I thought we would talk fall trends this week so let’s start with the camo trend. I love this trend!

These camo pieces look super cute on you! However, I grew up in the rural North where camo was for hunting and I just can’t do it now! It’s just a little too “country” for my now-suburban life! Haha!

I am over 60 and just purchased a pair of camo print jeans from Nordstrom. They are fabulous and I feel fabulous in them.
I agree that they are a neutral and frankly, I think any woman, no matter the age can wear them. Your are as young as you feel!

Cyndi, I think the camo trend looks so cute on you! I will wear camo pants (I bought the ones from Gap you posted last year and my husband loves them!). However, I only wear them as an athleisure item. Most camo tops do not work for me because I do not look good in army green or olive. I guess like most trends, I enjoy having a “touch” of something here or there if it is something fun or something that expresses my personality/mood. Thanks for BFTH!! I needed that today!
Oh Wow….I can’t even comment on the camo because the BFTH was so spot on for just what I needed to hear this AM. I struggle with trying to please people and just told my husband last night I was going to really work hard to break it. Yesterday I heard in our sermon….We were created by HIM and for HIM. That hit home. I only need to please my Heavenly Father and all the rest will fall into place. Thanks again for the AM reminder. God really is using you. PS Love the Camo on you. 🙂
You make the camo trend look so good and fun. For me I’m not opposed to wearing it I just feel like I stick out too much if I do.. Which I know is contradictory to the camo look…. I did however buy a pair of cotton pants that have the camo colors just a plant print instead, which I paired with a black t shirt and denim jacket to tone down. Love your BFTH today I’m going to add it to my journal of verses. Thank You:)

I struggle with the camo trend. I feel sometimes it’s more for the younger set. I don’t know everyone needs to jump on board, just because it’s a trend.
I was in the Air Force for 25 years, so I guess I was way ahead of this trend. Just can’t wear it anymore. It’s cute, but it’s not for me anymore.
What camouflage outfits? I could not see any of them . Guess the camouflage is working. Just kidding! 🙂 I do like the camo look not sure I pull it off as well as you..

Don’t know why I can’t get on board with the camo trend. Your pictures do give me some options for trying it however. I guess I feel it is just too casual for the woman over 40, 50, 60.
Fall is beginning to creep into the evening air in Colorado. Still 90 degree days, but I’m anxious to see what you style for fall trends.

Yes! I agree, Jan. Camo is a new neutral. I’ve seen it combined with everything from work out gear to formal wear! Who’d-a-thunk it??
