Dining Room Update for Thanksgiving

Happy Saturday ladies! A few weeks ago I shared my dining room update with you. My dining room didn’t have any furniture, and since we are hosting Thanksgiving this year, I had to get some quick.

I’ve added some fall decor to the room, and I’m super pleased with how the room has come together. We had our Sunday dinner and used the dining room last week, and everyone loved it.

Of course, I didn’t get a good picture of the room before I started the transformation. I took this picture with my phone, so it does give you an idea of what it looked like empty. #bloggerfail

Dining Room Update for ThanksgivingI took the elaborate chandelier down and added this one from Wayfair. The walls I painted white dove with Benjamin Moore paint. You can’t see it very well, but I also added this rug, and I’m pleased with it.

When you walk in our front doors, my dining room is on the right side, so it’s the first thing you see.

My gather sign is from Smallwood Home. I purchased my lamps from Home Goods so I can’t link to them.

My pumpkins on my buffet are from Pottery Barn and so is the greenery although I couldn’t find it online. I added some detail with a wooden cake plate and cutting board.

My placemats are from Pier 1 Import, and I linked similar plates from Pottery Barn if you want something similar.

I thought these blue (they look green in my pics, but they have a blue tint) vases were the perfect touch with my lamps; it pulled it all together. I have had these vases for a long time, and I don’t remember where I purchased them.

A simple white bowl with pumpkins and a white cake plate underneath the bowl are in the center of my table.

That’s a little of my dining room update. I’m ready to have a lot of meals in here with friends and family! Bring on the food and laughter!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart~~I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1

Have a blessed day!

  1. Your dining room turned out great! The new paint color is awesome!
I just had my entire inside house color painted in the same light color. It’s so fresh with all your decorations. Good job.

  2. It thrills me to see that my suggestion of the “gather” wooden wall sign you went With was what you decided on as I remember you said you were on your way to the store to look at mirrors because most suggested a mirror for the long wall and you thought that was a great idea. So I hurriedly sent you the two pictures of the wooden signs from Pinterest and you went with one of them. It looks absolutely great. It goes with the theme that you started on the mantle with the other wood sign. Blessings my friend.
