It’s Here! Gibson X Hi Sugarplum Resort Collection

Happy Tuesday ladies!! I’m so excited to share the Gibson X Hi Sugarplum Resort Collection with you today. These pieces are so cute, and if you’re heading somewhere warm soon, you might want to grab a few of them. They will make packing easy!

I don’t know this for sure, but I feel like some of them will sell out quick so keep that in mind when you’re shopping. Also, Gibson has Regular and Petite Sizes: XXS=00, XS=0-2, S=4-6, M=8-10, L=12-14, XL=16, XXL=18 (14W-16W).

First up, I’m styling this gorgeous black maxi dress. There is so much to love about this maxi dress. The v-neck is flattering on almost all women, and the dress is fully lined.

When you’re at the beach or even on a cruise, it can be breezy and get chilly, so it’s always a good idea to have a long sleeve top. This lightweight tunic is perfect for a breezy evening.

I fell in love with this palm print dress. This has resort wear written all over it!

I can’t go to the beach without some stripes. This striped pocket tank comes in a slew of colors and is scooped in the front and back.

It's Here! Gibson X Hi Sugarplum Resort CollectionI styled the striped tank with these black wide-leg ankle pants. These pants are amazing!!

Next up I’m styling a Laguna soft jersey ruffle back t-shirt dress. It comes in several colors including black and white stripes. Typically with Gibson brand, I wear an XS but I need a small in this dress so I wanted you to know for your size reference.

I believe God is always wanting to do a new thing in our lives but the question is, are we looking for it?

  1. I ordered and just received the black pants…question I am 5’3″ and they hit me a little lower I think I can get away with where they fall, they don’t touch the ground at all and I never can wear petite in pants (not that they are in stock anyway) but should I get them hemmed an inch or two or leave them?

  2. Oh my word!! You look adorable in every last piece!! I love how you styled it, and am thrilled you like it! Thanks for sharing the love, friend! xo

  3. Cyndi, You look absolutely beautiful in everything you wear. I so enjoy your posts. Also love your words of faith and encouragement at the end of every post. Thank you for the sunshine you bring into every day!

  4. Love the different outfits. I too was wondering what bra you wear under the tops. I love racer back shirts – but hate for the straps to show.

  5. I love the palm print dress!! 🙂 I also really like those pants, they look really comfortable – at first I thought it was a skirt! Makes me want to go on vacation too!

  6. Love all the dresses and you look so chic in them. Can’t wait for
Spring! Thank you Cindi for all you do. God Bless

  7. All of the outfits are so cute!!! I can’t wait for warm weather! Good luck with cleaning out the house. It is a difficult time, but you also get to remember so many happy times!

  8. Love all of those looks!! Can you please tell us what bra you wear under the shirts. I have a criscross bra, but the straps still show with shirts cut like that in the back.
    Thanks!!

  9. So stunning! Love these looks. I’m in Mexico on vacation and could use many of these! Great pieces for the upcoming seasons!

  10. I can’t even think about summer clothes yet. If I was going somewhere warm I would check these out though. Cute! Although the shoulder ruffles look a little young for myself. I do like the idea of a racer back dress. It bares a little skin (discreetly) but allows you to wear a bra.
I do look forward to your spring trend forecast and your collaboration with JoLynne. By March, I will be completely tired of my winter wardrobe and it’ll be warming up here. .

  11. Loving the Naples dress but with snow falling here it feels a little too cold to be looking at summer wear.

  12. Cyndi, I find something I love almost EVERY time you post! Loving the palm print swing dress. It is supposed to be ZERO degrees here this week. Not loving this frigid weather!

  13. I look forward to your daily posts, but for some reason, they are now showing up in my junk mail instead of my regular mail. Do you have any idea why? I would like to fix this problem.

So wish I was going somewhere warm right now. I live in South Dakota where we are no stranger to frigid temps. However, yesterday I witnessed a “first.” Schools – nearly statewide – have been cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday and will resume Thursday at 10:30 – to allow the buses to leave at 8:00 when the sun is up to pick up students. School was also cancelled Monday for our area due to blowing and drifting snow. I retired a few years ago after over 30 years, and can honestly say I I have never seen anything like this on a statewide level. Calgon, take me away!

  14. I love this collection! Sooo cute! I live in South Louisiana so these are perfect for our hot sticky summers. Unfortunately, many of these styles are already sold out in the Small petite and XS petite. I’m grabbing a couple that are left!

  15. I love all of the resort wear you chose! Inspired me to order and plan a trip to Key West we’ve dreamed about. I have a question I’m sure you’ve answered in the past, but since I don’t know how to search for it in your past posts, what type of strapless bra do you wear with the halter style or cut out tops? I am very petite and even Victoria Secret bras are too wide across the front cups to fit comfortably in a strapless. Their regular bras do fit because of straps. I have tried on many different brands and have never found one I liked.

  16. Love these adorable outfits! Now I’m ready for spring!
Prayers for you all as you go through this season of life. We are there as well with my husbands family. It’s so hard because we loved them so much!

  17. Thanks for braving the cold to style these cute outfits for us and we’re going on a cruise in Oct so I’ll have plenty of options to refer to when I start shopping for it.

  18. So adorable- these clothes again today have me longing for warm weather, as I sit her looking at snow on the ground 😉.
I want one of the dresses but I’m torn. The black midi is already gone in my size so….
Thanks for sharing, and you look far better than the Nordstrom model in these clothes.

  19. Love your BFTH and what a collection. YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL!! I love it all( especially that ruffle back dress) and will definitely have to check out this line along with Social threads. These would be so cute to wear in our summer months. Thanks for braving the cold again. Blessings as you go to your in laws and glad you both can take comfort in those days.

  20. Cute Spring clothing! We have snow in Mississippi this morning so can’t imagine you trying to shoot pics outside in this weather. I love Spring & Summer clothes & don’t buy near as many winter clothes as I love color . Pink, blue , lime green, are some favorites. I am so sorry about your in-laws and the selling of their house. I know it must be hard My mom remembers me and sometimes my brother ( in Texas) but she came at Christmas to make new memories. I am closer to her in miles & see her several times a week. I am blessed that at 93 she is in good health. 🙂

  21. Love all these cute spring pieces as well as all the looks you shared yesterday from Social Thread!! Spring fashion is always refreshing after the cold grey winter months. Prayers for you and Wayne as you deal with your recent loss. Seeing the aging and death process in our parents is so challenging and sad. Thank God for the strength, guidance, comfort and HOPE He gives!!

  22. I totally understand the “undoing” of the family house. We had to do that last year, and it was very hard. It is not just going through all the things (which is hard), but it is reliving the memories (which was comforting in many ways), and hardest of all realizing that there will be no more memories to make. We have to live with the ones we have made. As my brother said when we were deciding which furniture to sell, now it is time for someone else to make memories with these pieces. It is nice to think that another family will be enjoying holidays around the dining room table, sharing love and good food with the dishes, etc. There was so much that we could not take and had to sell, and I wish we could have taken more. But the memories will remain with me (since my mom is in memory care and cannot remember the memories nor can she create any new ones.) Thinking of you and your family.
