Adding Spring Decor with The Home Depot

One of my favorite rooms to enjoy during the spring and summer is our screened porch. It’s so nice to sit out there early in the morning and have a cup of coffee. It’s the perfect way to start my day!

Now that the weather is warming up, I’m ready to get my porch looking pretty, and The Home Depot is a great place to shop for spring decor. I found pillows, lanterns,  plants, and much more!

Here is my screened porch before I got started decorating with The Home Depot.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotHere is the finished room. So much better!! I think the rug pulled it all together.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotI added just a few things to add some color, and of course, I added some greenery. The Home Depot has lots of plants and flowers to get you ready for spring.

Some of the spring decor I added were lanterns. I love adding them to my outdoor area. The Home Depot also has candles, and when the sun is setting, we can turn them on.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotI really like this steel lantern.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home Depot I also added a cute welcome sign. I want everyone to know they’re welcome to come and sit on my screened porch. We can share a cup of coffee or hot tea and chat about life.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotI had to have some pretty pillows, and The Home Depot has a large selection of throw pillows.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotOf course, they have lots of outdoor furniture, but I added a garden stool.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotI think my favorite thing I added was this table top fire pit. We are going to have so much fun using this! Every Sunday when we have our family dinner after church, we will be roasting some marshmallows with the grandkids.

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotThe Home Depot has a ton of tableware too!

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotHere is the before and after side by side. I think I’m ready for spring!

Adding Spring Decor with The Home DepotIf you’re looking to update your outdoor area this spring, you should check out The Home Depot. They have a huge selection of spring styles online.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

    1. I love all the great ideas. Cyndi, you know how to coordinate things so well, whether it’s clothing or home furnishings! Thanks for sharing your “porch fashion” today.

  1. The deck looks great. I love making the outside of my home pretty – driving into the drive when it looks good is an “ahhhhh” moment for me. I don’t have a deck, but a huge front porch that wraps around to a side porch. I have a fun small red table with 2 chairs on the main porch; a bench with pillows, a whiskey barrel planter & others plant stands on the other side. I have matching rugs in both areas. It’s very lovely. And a lot of pretty.

    Enjoy your deck.

  2. I love this! We are preparing to move to the lake and we need some new porch items! I love the blue for summer! May I ask where you bought your table and chairs? Thanks!

  3. “ We do Real” means everything. Children are astute. They feel when we’re not being real. Colt has smart grandparents. Have fun making s’mores!

  4. Looks great. Love spring and summer we live on the lake and nothing better than being in Gods glory. Watching birds listening to turkeys gobble watching boats go up and down the lake Porches are the best ☀️

  5. your porch looks great! We just redid ours last year and I love sitting out there on the weekends in the morning and having a cup of tea. We got a bigger table with a firepit in the middle, but you can cover it up so we can eat out there a bit more. Ahh – I can hardly wait for it to get a bit warmer!

  6. Great improvements to make your porch look inviting. I know you will enjoy many hours hanging out there. I have a large patio on the back of my house, not screened in because in CO we don’t have bugs, we spend many hours on ours and coffee in the morning is the best. Love all the ideas you shared.

  7. Love this post! I know you focus on fashion – but it’s nice to see meal plans, decorating, etc – just regular life stuff too.

  8. Love it! Your porch looks bright, cheery and ready for Spring and Summer! Of course, I am a fan of blue, so that also spoke to me!😍

  9. Hmmmm … might be time for me to do a porch update. 🤔💗 And LOVE that tabletop firepit! We haven’t put one in our yard because it can get so dry here I worry about fires. This is a definite do!

  10. This is so cute! Lately, I have been wanting to renovate my porch. It needs some serious work. Great job! Your stuff always looks so awesome!

  11. Looks fantastic, love the decorating that you have done. Definitely will have to check out Home Depot. I would love to sit and have coffee on that porch.

  12. Looks so inviting! Boy do I miss the early spring of Kentucky. Live in Indy now but raised in Louisville and the thing I miss most, the shorter winters!

  13. Oops my reply went to the wrong g section. One question are ferns hard to keep? Looking at them for beside our front door instead of flowers.

  14. I now have porch envy! So pretty and I love the color you added. I’m typically a “neutral” decorator, but I love the color here. and those bird pillows are so cute. Good job!

  15. LOVE all of your choices. Really brighten’s up your screened in porch and says “come sit with me.” So inviting. You even used my favorite color!!

  16. It looks very inviting. My favorite thing to do to start my day is to sit on my porch with a cup of coffee and a book. I may have many things on my “to do” list, but feel it’s important to make time for reflection and me time.

  17. Porch looks GREAT! Thanks for supporting Home Depot – my husband is a district manager with them!

  18. I love your screened porch! You are right- the rug pulls it all together. And the tabletop fire pit—What a great idea!

    1. Looks great. The rug really makes the difference. I’m updating our furniture and rug outside this season as well… our deck leading to the pool area is an extension of our home so I like to carry out the same color scheme and we just re painted and changed our interior colors so all coming at a good time:)

  19. I love all your blogs. Especially all your Christian comments. Your clothing is wonderful also
