I’m so Thankful He Chose Me!

As Valentine Day draws to a close I’m so thankful for my husband.

I remember our first Valentine’s Day…………..

We were young and giddy about each other.

But tonight as he sits next to me with his laptop open I realize, I’m still giddy.

We’ve been through so much together, we have history.

Wayne loves me when I look my worst…………

when I act my worst………..

He makes me laugh………….

He challenges me to love Christ more………….

To give more………….

and he reminds me daily how much he loves me.

What a blessing he is to me!!

And so tonight I’m so thankful…….

He chose me!

This song was sung at our wedding and it’s more “us”  today than it was twenty years ago 🙂

    I am a recently retired Oregonian who loves your blog and your heart for the Lord. I have a son living in Louisville, KY getting his doctor’s in physical therapy….so far from home and we miss him soooo much. He is a longtime Wildcat fan, so guess it’s appropriate that he’s in KY. I also love and can’t function without, several cups of coffee (decaf) a day and there’s no better combination than coffee and chocolate! You and your sister are adorable…thank you for sharing your journey and for keeping it real!

    I’d never heard your song before. . . I cried all the way through it. I’m so grateful Jack chose me. Some days I can hardly believe he’s still choosing me every day, for I surely don’t deserve it! Thank God for grace.
