Calming My Anxious Thoughts

Today I’m reminded that Christ knows my anxious thoughts.

He knows my fears, and my hurts

All week I’ve been thinking of Isaiah 55:8-9,

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.

As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

There are so many things I don’t understand, but He does.

There are so many things I want to fix, but He can.

There are hurts I wish I could wipe away,  but He will.

He has a plan and His plan is perfect.

I’m so thankful today to know He is control.

Maybe today, you too have anxious thoughts.

Know that He wants to calm your fears and bring you peace.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the word gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
