Why do vacations have to go by so fast??

We had such a wonderful week!

We spent lots of time at the beach, shopped at some outlets, ate tons of seafood and laughed so much my stomach hurt!

I was reminiscing about our family………how certain things happen in our lives that change us forever.

You know what I’m talking about, those moments when you realize you’ve entered a new season:

~the first time your child walks and you realize life is going to get crazy

~the first time you leave your child home for a few hours while you go to the grocery store and you finally have some freedom

~the first time your child drives to the grocery store for you ( your prayer life increases ten fold! )

~the day your child graduates high school and then college

As I thought about all those milestones I was reminded how each one had affected us.

Then I looked at my sweet daughter and realized we are at one of those milestones again……….

Our lives are going to change forever as we welcome Colt Allen to our family.

I am already completely and madly in love with this baby boy.

I can’t wait to show you his nursery……we are in the process of getting everything ready!
