It’s a Baby Update Day!

Good Morning!!

Well, as you can imagine we are in full baby mode around here!

This is a picture of Courtney at 32 weeks………

Yes, her stomach sticks straight out! and everyone tells her how BIG her belly looks.

You can imagine how this hormonal mommy-to-be feels right now!

I keep reminding her “this too shall pass”.

Several months ago Courtney picked out the fabric for Colt’s nursery.

It has a very southern flair………

We headed over to a dear friend of ours, Jenny, who is making all the bedding and curtains for us.

Jenny has an amazing sewing room and I thought you might like to see some pictures!

It’s very organized!

Love this plaque that hangs in her sewing room…..

I can’t wait to show you the nursery when it’s finished!

Courtney has been doing some DIY stuff so you might want to head over to her blog

and check out the cute lamp shades she’s painted.

Jenny also has a blog and sews and sells lots of clothes and accessories for girls and boys.

Here’s some of her adorable work……..the picture in the middle is Jenny’s daughter with me

and of course she made her dress. Too cute!!

Head on over to Savvy Stitches and check out all the things Jenny is sewing!

  1. Courtney looks beautiful! She surely has the glow about her! Love what y’all picked out for nursery. Can’t wait to see the finished project! It is such an exciting time with a new baby on the way!!

  2. Courtney looks so pretty! I love the colors she is using, especially the green. I know you all are getting so excited! I feel like I need to go get my kids and put them to work, that sewing room is so neat and organized, I need SEVERAL closets done that way! I look forward to hearing more as the baby get closer to being here. My grandmother always told me, especially towards the end, “Put your feet up!” She told me that all the time! I always thought she meant because of swelling, but now I think she meant because once the baby gets here, you don’t have time to put your feet up!

  3. I think Courtney looks beautiful. She looks like she is all belly, and tell her that is a blessing. I think it’s way better to be belly than hips. The belly will go away and the hips won’t. 🙂

  4. What an exciting time. I LOVE…LOVE..LOVE…the colors Courtney has picked out for the nursery. Simply precious. And, she looks BEAUTIFUL.

    I know coveting is wrong…BUT…that craft room..OH MAN!! I think I’m drooling!!

Looking forward to many more exciting updates as this special occasion draws close!!
