Yummy Strawberry Cake

Happy Friday!!

This past week one of my friends shared this easy and delicious strawberry cake with me.

I don’t know about you but if a recipe has the words easy and delicious

in them then it’s right up my alley!

It’s a great summer time dessert and this is the secret ingredient that makes it super moist!

 

 

Yep! French vanilla pudding (any brand is fine).

Not vanilla but French vanilla.

You add the dry pudding to a cake mix and follow the directions on the back of the box.

(I added a couple of extra tablespoons of water to make it a little thinner)

 

 

I baked the cake in a bundt pan and then let it cool before drizzling a cream cheese icing over it.

(I made the icing with cream cheese, confectionaries sugar and milk.)

 

 

It is so moist and super yummy!!!

  1. Easy and delicious sounds great!! Last year I made this cake, without the pudding, and created an icing of the same ingredients but added squashed strawberries-you just have to play with the milk measurements for the right consistency. Then added strawberries on top to decorate. Delicious!! Can’t wait to try with the French vanilla!!
