Blazers look great with a pair of jeans.
Or even with a skirt.

I have a black blazer I got at T.J. Maxx a couple of years ago. I added a camel scarf with it because I have on my leopard flats. I got my scarf at Walmart for $5 and I love it.
If you’re looking for something simple and classic the blazer is the way to go!

You look fabulous, as always. I can never get a scarf to look as cute on me as it does on other people. I like the blazer option because I hate to take a coat unless it’s FREEZING.
I love blazers and wish I were thin enough to feel I look good in them. Can you tell I am still working on my self image? But I would love to own a bunch, one in every color!
LOVE my blazers! they instantly “dress down” the outfit when i want to wear flowy dresses, but also glam up a pair of jeans & flats!

I love any kind of jacket. Most of mine have been purchased in consignment shops. I feel a jacket or blazer can always “spiff up” an outfit! I read recently that layering, such as with blazers, is great when having pictures taken. Photographers recommend this so it must be true:) Thanks for the tips, Cyndi. Keep up the good work!

Great post. Thanks for helping me change it up. I get stuck in such a rut. I actually just bought a new gray plaid blazer from H & M and wore it over a kinda dressy blue dress. (will have to take a pic), but never thought about layering it with jeans or skirst. It will work perfectly. Seems like layering is really the thing lately. I take fashion cues from my 12 year old twin girls. Fortunately, they are very tuned in.
