Today is our Countdown to Christmas. Each Wednesday we’re trying to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. It’s so easy to get caught up in on all the busyness of the season, isn’t it?

My Mom loved Christmas! I still can’t believe she’s not here with us. I miss her so much! Yesterday, Dad and I put a magnolia wreath on her grave. Mom loved decorating with magnolia leaves and I knew when I saw the magnolia wreath that that was the one for her. Beautiful!!

My Mom was always looking for ways to share Christ especially during the holidays. One way that she felt we could do this was by sending Christmas cards with the true meaning of Christmas on them. Mom was adamant about this with us!

Sending cards with family pictures is popular and Shutterfly has lots of options for you to share Christ. Yeah!

These are a few of my favorites:

Aren’t those adorable! If you haven’t sent your cards yet hurry over to Shutterfly and order one of these Christ filled cards. There’s free shipping on orders of $50 or more through tomorrow!

Today, more than ever people are trying to keep Christ out of Christmas but we need to take every opportunity to share Christ and sending cards that share the true message of Christmas is an easy way to start.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.”  Romans 1:16

Thanks for stopping by and Merry CHRISTmas!

  1. WOO HOO! I’m excited about winning! Thank you so much!!! Can’t wait to hear from you!
Love the wreath on your mom’s grave. Both of my parents loved Christmas so much and they’re both gone too (much too young). We just might get a magnolia wreath for their graves this year.

  2. My sister and I put a Christmas Wreath on our Mom’s grave. We too, can’t believe she is not here with us. We miss her so much as I know you miss your Mom too!!! My Mom loved Christmas too, the cards, the packages, like a kid herself coud not wait to open .. . to see what was inside…. precious memories….
