Fashion Friday~Neon Is Making A Comeback

Woo hoo! It’s Friday and I can’t believe it, but I don’t have to be anywhere (except for church on Sunday). That’s unheard of for me, I usually don’t get to stay home.

Of course, I’m sure I’ll venture out, I get antsy if I stay home for too long and I’m hoping to do some exercising!

Last week when I was shopping at the Super Target I took this picture of some bracelets.

Neon colors are making a comeback this spring and I’m having flashbacks of big hair and my neon hoop earrings I wore in the 80s. Gotta love the 80s!

Okay we don’t want to go back there, but you can add one piece of neon color and look stylish.

This watch is so cute and would look great for spring and summer.

This dress is too short for me but the color is pretty.

Neon nail polish, enough said!

Neon colors are also showing up in make-up. Bobbi Brown has neon eyeshadows.

Neon lip glosses.

And neon lipsticks. The key would be to pick where you want to add neon to your face. You wouldn’t want to wear neon eye shadow, lipstick and lip gloss together. Too. much. neon!

Looks like we’re going to have a bright spring!

So what do you think, will you be wearing any neon colors this spring?

Beauty For the Heart~~I love Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

In our fast pace world it’s important for us to take time to be still and listen to God. Sometimes we need to unplug from social media, the internet, the television and the list can go on.

I’m excited to share with you that I’ll be speaking at Bloggy Conference 2012. They’ve added a new element called Be Still.  I’m honored to be a part of this conference and if you’re a blogger I would  love for you to join me.

  1. I was just at the mall today (before I read your post) and seriously saw a little neon in almost every store. I was thinking very 80s too (like, “totally” – haha!).
