Yummy Pretzel Treats

Good morning!

We had a busy and beautiful weekend. The weather has been gorgeous!

This time of year we watch a lot of basketball and we love cheering on our Kentucky Wildcats.

Colt Allen got into the spirit too~~He loves those Cats!

On Saturday, we were blessed to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 84th birthday.

We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed spending time with family.

My sister-in-law fixed some snacks and I wanted to share one of them with you.

These pretzel treats are easy and delicious and I could not stop eating them!

Ingredients:

  • Bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels
  • Hershey’s Hugs
  • M&M’s candy (regular or holiday colors)

Heat the oven to 170 F. Set a number of bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, then top each pretzel with an unwrapped Hershey’s Hug.

Bake for 4 to 6 minutes until the chocolates feel soft when touched with a wooden spoon. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M’s candy into the center of each Kiss.

Allow the treats to cool for a few minutes, then place them in the refrigerator to set, about 10 minutes.

These would be fun and easy for your children to help you make.

Have a great day!

  1. I made these pretzel treats last night for our AFS son’s sweet 16 birthday! I used peanut butter m&m’s instead of just the chocolate, and I also tried the carmel filled kisses when I ran out of the hershey hugs. They didn’t turn out as pretty, but with the carmel, they were really good! Thanks for posting to give me such a good idea for a special treat! He is going to love these!!

  2. I made similar pretzel treats at Christmas time. We used a Rolo in the middle, with a pecan on top. I think I ate 100 of them on Christmas Eve!

  3. I love those pretzel things!!!! There are some cute ones floating around pinterest using a Hershey kiss and some green M&M’s arranged like a clover for Saint Patrick’s Day.
