What I Wore~Mother/Daughter Fashion

Happy Hump day!

Last week I was in Florida, enjoying warm beautiful weather.

Today, I’m back in Kentucky and the temperature is 38 degrees. Yikes!

Thankfully, it’s not going to stay cold for too long. The weekend is looking warmer.

I thought it would be fun today to show you some Mother/Daughter fashion.

My daughter and I love to shop together and Courtney has a great sense of style!

Sometimes we find things we both like and we fight over who’s going to get it.

But usually our age difference (I’m 45 and she’s 25) keep us from buying the same thing.

We both are loving all the spring colors.

Coral is still my favorite color right now and I found this top at JCPenney.

I’m sporting my big shades. 🙂 I have a white tank under my coral top that I bought at the

Banana Republic outlet while I was in Florida.

My jean capri’s I bought at Target and my earrings are also from the Banana Republic outlet.

Courtney just had a baby 7 months ago and here’s a picture of what she looked like right before she delivered. (She’s going to kill me!)

7 months later and she’s lost that big belly and looking great! She’s wearing a lighter coral top.

She also bought a white tank top from the Banana Republic outlet.

Her shorts are from the Banana Republic outlet. We both could have spent a fortune at Banana Republic!

Courtney also has great hear and I’m jealous!

Well, today we may not be wearing these outfits since the temperatures are chilly but hopefully

summer temperatures will be here soon!

What’s your favorite color this spring?

Beauty For the Heart~~I don’t know why, but this song has been on my mind.

I remember my Mom singing it all the time. It’s called, Count Your Blessings.

Here are the lyrics:

When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Count your many blessings name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one;

Count your blessings, see what God hath done;

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

 And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?

Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?

Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,

And you will be singing as the days go by.

Count your blessings, name them one by one;

Count your blessings, see what God hath done;

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

 And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

No matter what you’re going through today, try counting your blessings!

  1. I neglected to comment on the hymn. Love it! The hymns are so meaningful for me and hold so many memories. I know I’m a dinosaur.

  2. Bonnie you are sweet! I hesitated putting these pictures up because it’s hard to compare yourself with a 25 year old! Haha!
    Thank you for stopping by!
    Blessings,
    Cyndi

  3. You are jealous of her hair?! Where, dear lady, do you think she got it? We are all jealous of the both of you.
    She looks amazing for having had a baby.
