Favorite “Pin” Friday

Happy Friday Friends!

The weather is gorgeous here and I’m looking forward to spending

some time outside. It’s starting to feel like summer and I love it!

Since we’re talking about summer I thought I’d share two cute summer outfits.

Here’s what I love about this outfit from outfitsbystacygustin.blogspot.com.

  • Love the colors~turquoise and coral look great together.
  • I also like the summer scarf.
  • Very cute sandals and you could wear them with everything.

Obviously the shorts are waaaaay too short for me.

I would personally wear capri’s.

This outfit is also from outfitsbystacygustin.blogspot.com.

Here’s what I love about this outfit.

  • The purse! I’m really wanting a purse that color and size.
  • She has also added gold jewelry which I’m also trying to wear more often.
  • I love wearing a pair of cute black flip flops for summer.

I would change~

The shorts, still a little short for me and I would change the earrings.

Looking at these “pins” can give you ideas and you can change them to suit

your body type, age etc.

So what do you think? Do you like these outfits?

Beauty For the Heart~~Tomorrow I’m sharing with a group of Mothers and Daughters

about “The Legacy We Leave”. I’ll be specifically talking about the legacy my Mom left me.

Mom had a passion for Jesus Christ.

Mom didn’t wait until her life on earth was almost over to know Jesus,

she spent her whole life getting to know Jesus.

She didn’t just go to Jesus in the difficult days, she went to Him every day.

Mom had a consistent dose of God’s word. She read it, she studied it, and she lived it.

Mom knew to live victoriously she had to live out Philippians 3:10,

“I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship

of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.”

Let me encourage you today to know Christ and then pass that legacy on to your children.

Be Blessed!

  1. Cyndi, you are so good at putting together cute outfits! I can see why these would have appealed to you on Pinterest–both of them just “look like Cyndi”! I love to dress cute but I am so bad with accessories. I just don’t take the time to add that extra polish. Need to get you to come live with me for awhile and dress me. 🙂

BTW, I added a link to your website at the bottom of one of my posts about beauty! That’s what I’ve been talking about this week, but I figured I should direct people to you in that department.

    Love ya!

    1. Richella,
Hello. I’m Vera. I design funny greeting cards, sell jewelry, and love petting cats. I am also a 4th year college student who stays up too late, wakes up too late to get ready for class in the morning so I’m always throwing on something simple and cozy, but I do have an amazing collection of jewelry (remember, I sell jewelry). I put on a sparkly headband, or statement earrings and bracelet, or simple studs and a power necklace and I am out the door. Without brushing my hair and sometimes brushing my teeth once I get to school, I always get compliments on “you look so cute today” or “I love that necklace.” Please check out my website http://www.jewelsbyvera.com and let me know what you think!

  2. Hi Cyndi,

I do love the outfits but I’m having such a hard time with the length of shorts these days. I mean, we are over 40, we don’t need our bums hanging out…and honestly, I don’t even think my cousin would let my teenage niece wear some of the shorts I have seen lately!

I’m trying to “dress up” more lately even tho I am home every day. I feel better when I look better. It’s been a rough week for me but looking good helps me feel better!
