Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. Ephesians 6:10-13

Last week I posted about Magic Mike and the 50 Shades of Grey. As you can imagine, there was a lot of discussion!

What amazed me is the number of women who feel they are alone in their convictions. They feel they’re fighting a battle and not winning.

I could not get this comment that was left on my post, out of my head, “Satan would have us believe that we’re all alone and we are weird for not following the crowd and trying to stay up with all the popular fads. Thank you for reminding me what really matters every time I read your blog.”

Also, I got several private emails from women thanking me for taking a stand, they had been ridiculed for taking the stand to not read the book or see the movie and appreciated me speaking out on their behalf.

Honestly, it bothered me that these women feel they’re alone in their convictions. Why do we feel we have to be quiet when it comes to standing up for what we believe?? Why do we feel we have to be politically correct all the time?

Scripture clearly tells us we are in a fight not against men or women but against evil. And guess what? When it’s all said and done, we win! Because Christ has fought the battle and won! Hallelujah!

SO LADIES, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
