What I Wore-My Style

Happy Hump Day! I’m sure you’re all  busy getting ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I can’t believe tomorrow we get to eat turkey and dressing and all the other delicious food. I think I’ll wear something comfortable and a little loose. 🙂

What is your favorite fall/winter clothing item? What are you wearing for Thanksgiving Day? Do you dress up or down?

I would love for you to follow me on facebook here! Check out my Pinterest boards here.

Beauty for the Heart~~I read this verse during my devotion time and although it’s good for us to give all year, it’s especially good as we enter the holiday season. Hebrews 13:16Don’t forget to do good. Don’t forget to share with others. God is pleased with those kinds of offerings.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi! You look awesome in all three outfits. I really love the last one with the animal print shrug from Banana Republic. I love BR, but haven’t shopped there in a while since I’m not working right now. Nonetheless, you look amazing and stylish! Thanks for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

  2. Hi Cyndi~

I love your animal print clothing. I’m an animal print junkie too!! All your outfits looked great this week. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed Thanksgiving 🙂

  3. Happy Thanksgiving Cyndi! You always wear such darling outfits, but you’ll never guess which one just out at me and said, “I’M CUTE!” The polka dot shirt with the cream scarf, skinny jeans and boots!! That reminded me of ME!! I COULD wear that. Might not look as great on me as it does the model :), but it is a “YES!!!” All of the other outfits pictured are of course, so pretty and so “Cyndi”. I had a revelation yesterday. As I told you before, I’m not a big shopper because I’m so hard to fit. So, I RARELY visit our mall which happens to be terribly “dink” anyway. My daughter, the interior designer also has her Master’s in Shopping. There is no place too far away or too small. She drove up to visit a bit yesterday and told me she was going to stop by the mall first. She came home ans said, “MOTHER!! Do you know there is a Francesca’s at your mall?!?! (I had no idea) She takes a bag out and shows me her treasure trove from Francesca’s; it was humming beautiful. She then says, (she likes to pretend she’s the mom), “after Thanksgiving, I’m coming back up here and you and I are going jewelry and accessory shopping… no arguments!” I was so surprised to find a store was here and I guess I have no choice but to go there. I’m so thankful for my bossy little girl. May our Lord God bless you and your family this Thanksgiving with an abundance of his love, grace and sweet blessings.

  4. I always wear one of my favorite outfits on Thanksgiving. My husband and I were 17 year old high school seniors when we met. He came over on Thanksgiving evening to meet my extended family. My Uncle took our picture and we have taken our picture every Thanksgiving since. I always get the special album out and we all have a good laugh at the fashions and hair (what were we thinking?). We will take our 40th picture this year. Have a wonderful day.

  5. I need some brown boots so badly! I’m dressing comfy for in-laws Thanksgiving today – brown cord slim jeans, denim button down with white t underneath, and animal-print flats… New “chocolate” nail polish.

  6. Love all your outfits!! I just bought a black bubble statement necklace via PinkePromise when they had their deal going!! I think I need some animal print to go with it!! 🙂

    Happy Thanksgiving Cyndi!!

  7. Stopping by from Women Living Well…

I know there are a few years difference in our ages {I’m 26}, but I love your style. I hope to be as stylish when I am your age. Which, by the way, you look like you’re 39, tops!

Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!!

  8. I can’t decide which outfit I like best this week. All are super cute and feel casual, yet finished. I generally never buy anything to go with anything else, but it always does in the end. I just buy things that I like.
My favorite Fall/Winter piece is a chunky, longish, taupe turtleneck cableknit sweater. I’ve had it for Years, but it’s still so soft and I just pull it over jeans and go. It’s Italian and was pricey, but I definitely have gotten my money’s worth.
I generally dress a bit up when I go out in public, but you couldn’t tell that seeing me on a daily basis! However, I tend to dress my dressier clothes down. I think it looks less dowdy. Anyone else feel that way?
I have a 60s vintage woolen, double-breasted French suit in Pumpkin that I wear every Thanksgiving…sometimes with the skirt, sometimes the pants. I think I’m too heavy for the pants this year:( The brand is Dix-Sept Ans which means 17 years.
UH-oh! I’m not giving it up even if it is a suit and apparently was designed for a 17yr old!
Have great Tday and eat lots of PIE!!! CTD

  9. Love your style in this post, especially those brown boots. I’ve been looking for a new pair and those scream my style! I’ll have to swing back to Marshall’s.

  10. Happy Thanksgiving! Love your outfits this week! I appreciate how you take that extra step to pull everything together. (scarves, cute shoes, or a fun necklace) For some reason, that is the hardest part to me! Maybe I need to pick a few basic outfits and shop specifically for the “completer” piece that will make the outfit special and not boring. Thanks for the inspiration. We alternate celebrating Thanksgiving between my parents and my in-laws and this year we travel to my parents where we dress casually but still cute and not sloppy (except for some of the teenagers!). But a few hours in the car and all that good food REQUIRE something loose and comfy! Have a blessed day, and by the way, you are looking skinny! 🙂

  11. I do love animal print and have a lot… but not tomorrow ~ I will be dressing up/down (up for some, down for some) LOL… Dressy black jeans, long ruffled edge sweater black T underneath… the dress up part a salmon, off white, red stripe scarf with silver threads in it and long vintage iridescent crystal beads that acrually hang below the scarf and looks very sparkly….
A very happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Cyndi… and thank you for your blog.

  12. Hi Cyndi,
Love the animal print! I have to force myself not to buy more animal print. Thanks for the info on Francesca’s, I found that a new store has opened at our local mall here in Indy so I’m planning a trip there next week! Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!!
