Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes

Neutrogena makeup remover

We all know that washing our face before we go to bed is a must! I use Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes.

I recently read that not removing your makeup before going to bed ages you 11 days. Ouch!! I don’t know about you, but I’m aging quick enough so I’ll wash my face!

I have to admit, I’m usually tired at night I and want the process to be quick. That’s why I use Neutrogena cleansing towelettes. They’re convenient, easy and remove all traces of my makeup.

These gentle, ultra soft cloths contain superior cleansing technology so effective it removes even waterproof mascara. With one step, it leaves skin thoroughly clean with no heavy residue, so there’s no need to rinse.

I didn’t realize that they have this convenient tub to put the refill packs in. I’ve been using the refill packs and they’ve worked fine for me but I think I’ll buy the tub the next time.

What do you use to cleanse your face before going to bed? Have you tried Neutrogena cleansing towelettes?

*Neutrogena did not pay me to write this, I like the product and wanted to share it with you!

  1. I LOVE the Magic Mitt from Jane Iredale! It’s $15.00, but you can use it over and over again. I have had mine for over a year and it is still working. It’s a mitt that you just wet and then wipe over your face. It even takes off waterproof mascara! After you are finished you can use facial cleanser if you want, but it isn’t necessary. All you have to do with the mitt is wash it out with hand soap and hang to dry. Check it out on Jane Iredale’s website. You will love it!

  2. I was just re-assessing my cleaning products! I do use the Neutrogena wipes as well as other, but started reading the Good Housekeeping book 7 years Younger and I realized I have no anti aging products in my routine! I have just started using Loreal Revatilift.

  3. You won’t believe this, but that is what I use and I love them!! I got them to take with me when I travel, and now I’m addicted to them. I love how soft they feel on my face and how they can take off my waterproof mascara. I bought a cheaper kind, maybe Aveeno?, but didn’t like them near as much so I switched back to Neutrogena. 🙂

    Love you!

  4. Hi Jill!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I’m glad you enjoy some of my posts even though you are a “young” woman. The best beauty advice I can give you is to always grow in your relationship with the Lord. That’s where true beauty is found!

  5. Retin A is the only thing that helps with collagen production which keeps your skin from sagging and creasing. Some people are sensitive to the product as originally formulated, but your skin can adjust over time. Otherwise, there are newer formulations you could try. It’s prescription only and expensive. However, It does work and that’s better than throwing you money on things that just make you skin feel good.

  6. The CeraVe is a cleanser that can be purchased at Walgreens or Walmart. I just like the way my skin feels after I first remove makeup with Albolene and then follow with washing with CeraVe. The Retin A is a prescrip I get from my dermatologist. It makes the cells turnover more quickly — sounds similar to what you probably used as a teenager. I have found the combination of these products quite good!

  7. I’m turning 50 in a couple months and am soaking up all this valuable info. Yes, I’ve been doing some beauty things, but most I read about on Cyndi’s blog are new to me. I have the Albolene down to check on at Walgreens. What about CeraVe? And the Retin A? As a teenager I used a Retinol product to clear my skin. Thanks!

  8. Hi Cyndi.

I’m late posting, but I use Oil of Olay cream wash. I may give these Neutrogena wipes a try though. Thanks for sharing.

I hope your Friday is Fantastic!

  9. I use these every night! I’ve tried other brands but they either irritated my eyes or didn’t get all my makeup off. I can’t do without these babies.

  10. Hey girl! I’ve always wondered about using cleansing towelettes, but I wasn’t sure they would get my all of my makeup off and really cleanse my skin. With your ringing endorsement of these Neutrogena towelettes, I’m trying them! I usually use Aveeno Positively Radiant makeup remover/cleanser with cotton muslin cloths to cleanse my face. It’s wonderful! When I think of the $$ I spent on cleansers, I cringe. Like you, I have many nights when I just want to get my makeup off and go to bed; these will be perfect. Thanks…be so blessed!

  11. Hi Cyndi,

Just wondering what foundation you use, and if you have ever tried the Cover Proof foundation?

    Love your blog!

  12. Hi Cyndi~ I use Eye make-up remover pads for the eye area and use a cleanser for my face. I may give these a try and ditch the cleanser 🙂 I recently just started using “Nerium” after cleaning my face at night. It is a MIRACLE product!! My skin hasn’t been this soft since I was a young girl!! It also has taken AWAY fine lines. I don’t have problem skin, but it also helps with a number of skin problems. It was originally made for cancer patients and now they are selling it for anti-aging.

Anyway, I also wanted to tell you I started using the Loreal Hair products you recommended a week or two ago and LOVE THEM!! My daughter always says how great my hair smells!!

My question for you is, can you recommend a good hair spray?? The one I currently use works well but leaves a “hard or crunchy” look to parts of my hair. Others I have tried don’t leave that “hard” look but they don’t keep my hair in place either. Just wondering if you can help ?? 🙂

Thanks Cyndi. Have a blessed day!

  13. Teresa,
I buy my Albolene at Walgreen’s. I guess it’s one of those products that’s been around for a while because it really does remove every trace of makeup! I’m 52 but started using it about 3 years ago after reading about it in a magazine. I’m sure you can find it at your local Walgreens.

  14. I use Oil of Olay towelettes for make-up removal before bed if I don’t shower. If showering, I use Olay 4-in-one daily facial cloths. I think I have tried Neutrogena before, but I use Olay lotion and also think the Olay towelettes are cheaper.

  15. These are so great for international travel. No cleansers to keep up with and handy when no washcloths available in Europe.

I’ve used the philosophy brand purity wipes but these would be much cheaper.

  16. Cyndi, You made me laugh and cry over here. I was just thinking of mentioning Albolene cream, but figured noone would even know what it was! When I was very young going by train to NM, a very old lady (bur with beautiful young looking skin) told me to stop scrubbing my face and use Albolene Cream. My Mom bought some for herself and once I started using make-up I took her advice, but can’t find it anymore. Where do you buy it?
I’m currently using a Jergen’s cream make-up remover with packaging that looks like it was designed in the 1950s, no kidding. I has that lovely rosaceous smell like original Dove soap and wicks the make-up off. Twice recently, I’ve gone out with friends and had people comment how nice it was that their daughter helped them out! Great for me, but they weren’t so pleased. 🙁
I may have to give these a try for travel. CTD

  17. I love the Neutrogena moisturizers, and have used them for a long time. They do a great job of exfoliating without drying my skin out too much. I always look forward to checking out your blog each day. 🙂

  18. for years (since I was in my 20’s), I’ve used just basic baby wipes….I love the ones with aloe or shea butter… they are cheaper than the makeup remover and I think they do a great job!

  19. Hi Cyndi!
Reading your blog each morning gets my day off to a great start– both fashionably and spiritually! I have found my skin getting drier as I “age”…I’m an early 50’s girl. Each night I remove my make-up with Albolene, followed by washing with CeraVe. Then on to L’Oreal Golden Balm and Retin A! Since a friend of my daughter’s recently thought I was in my early 40’s (love that kid!), I plan to continue on that regimen!!
    Love your blog!!

  20. Hey Cyndi! I’ve been a lurker on your site for quite awhile now. I’m a non-blogger, but definitely read plenty of them. 🙂 Love your site. I will be 30 this year, but have still found some helpful tips here. Thank you for your heart for the Lord and the way you tie it in to such fun posts. My favorite makeup remover is the ponds original towelettes. I LOVE them. They take everything off and my skin is so soft afterwards. I’ve tried their other scents (lavender and I think a citrusy one) but I always go back to the original. Have a great day!

  21. I have used these for several years and love them. I’ve tried others but they just don’t make my face feel as clean. That’s funny that you didn’t know they had the tub to use. I too just noticed and bought one last week when they were BOGO 1/2 price. Also, I’m just like you at night regarding being too tired to take off my makeup. These wipes make it quick and easy. Have a great day! Love reading your blog and C.S. Lewis!

  22. I haven’t tried these! I use Clinique make-up remover and love it. But I can see these would be great for traveling. I’m definitely going to get some! Lisa~
