I’m ready for the weekend! It’s been a busy week for us so I’m thankful to have a few days at home just to catch up!

Here are a few of my favorite pins from this week.

Lastly, I wanted to share this video with you. There’s been so much sadness on the news this week. My heart aches for all the families who have suffered and I’ve been praying for all of them.

Sometimes I have to take a break from watching the news because it’s so depressing. One of the things that Colt(my grandson) loves to watch is babies laughing on youtube. When he’s a little fussy I can show him this video and we start laughing.

I thought some of you might need a laugh too!

Do you have to take a break from watching the news?

Have a blessed day!

  1. I noticed today that many of us on social media are saying negative comments about how we have to work on having longer legs, or flatter tummies etc. We forget that we are wonderfully made. I want to challenge you to post one comment that is positive. God bless and have a great weekend

  2. Hi Cyndi,

  3. Hi Cyndi – I love to “Pin” things as well and pinned the same pink sweater outfit and hair style about month ago! I knew we liked a lot of the same things! 🙂 And thanks for the video – it brought a smile to my face amongst so much sadness on the news! Blessings to you this weekend!

  6. Yes, I do take a break from the news. I’ve been working from home today and just can’t seem to turn off the TV with all the happenings in the news. We live 90 miles from the town of West, Texas and it’s been really sad to see the destruction and the loss of life. My cousin’s wife’s mother lives in West and they were going there to visit her the day after the blast. There was good news that she was 5 miles away from the explosion but had no damage to her home and she’s okay. It’s been amazing the response we Texans have given that little town. They had to tell everyone to stop sending supplies due to the overwhelming response. Have a great weekend! Blessings.

  7. YES! Definitely needed a break and that sweet baby’s laughter. I’ve been watching the news all morning while working. Can’t seem to tear myself away though. Praying for a peaceful weekend.
