Favorite “PINS” Friday!

Happy Friday! We’ve had another busy week and this weekend is going to be a busy one too. I’m speaking at a Mother/Daughter dinner tomorrow. I love to share with other women about my Mom and the legacy she left me. Can’t wait!

I did some shopping yesterday for an upcoming trip to Chicago. I’ll tell you more about the trip next week but I needed to pick up a few things to wear. There’s so much cute spring/summer fashion. I just need the weather to warm up so I can start wearing it!

Here are some “PINS” I liked this week:

  1. I love the first look, with the beautiful green jacket and contrasting slacks…such a fresh and stylish outfit..and yes, I also like the blue ankle strap shoes…thanks Cyndi for inspiring me to update my appearance!

  2. Hi Cyndi, I would love to attend an event to listen to you speak about your Mother and her legacy. I’ve read your blog long enough to know that she was a lovely, loving, spiritual, encouraging woman and especially a Mother. What a great venue you have to speak about her, I know she is so proud of you.
I really found myself liking the navy shirt dress with the gold chevron scarf. I would never have given that dress a chance just seeing it on the hanger, but looking at it with the appropriate accessories makes me want to try it on!
Have a great and blessed weekend!

  3. I love that you have a style! I can look at your pins and recognize it as your style! I’m still looking for my style. My eye likes a lot of things, but when wearing them they don’t necessarily feel like me. I’ll figure it out some day 🙂

  4. Great pins! We’re headed to the lake to recharge our batteries before the end-of-school craziness ensues… we’ve got one coming home from college next week and one graduating high school in 3 weeks… yikes!
enjoy, Cyndi — good luck on your talk!
    xo Heidi

  5. Hi Cyndi.

    I love that first look…everything she’s wearing. I also love that navy/white purse! 🙂 I am a purse junkie.

Can’t wait to see your new clothes. Hope you have a great weekend at the conference.

  6. Love those pins… shoes and dresses! Yes, busy weekend coming up here… Last two days have been gorgeous here but haven’t enjoyed them to the fullest as our lil’ guy got a terrible stomach virus 🙁 No fun, seeing your lil ones so sick. My husband is building a locker style coat/boot rack for our mudroom and I’m redoing some end tables I picked up cheap so hoping we all get to work in the garage allll day tomorrow! Have a great Friday Cyndi! Blessings!

  7. I love every thing you’ve pinned! I adore the first outfit with the green blazer! I always love the look of blazers. I seem to buy them and not wear them. I think I feel a little restricted in them. I want to try some more casual, knit options. I love the mint shoes too! In fact I have a pair very similar in black and white. I wore them to tour a college campus with my daughter two weeks and still have the blisters! Ha ha! Be sure and get a good fit if you choose to get them:) Have a great trip! Blessings! Krista

  8. I love every single one of these pins, especially the blue ankle strap shoes. You’ve completely nailed my faves!
Can’t wait to hear about the trip to Chicago and what you bought to wear, but just a bit of advice: don’t forget your coat! While we may be flirting with Spring here in the Ohio River valley, Chicago is always really cold by comparison this time of year. They don’t call it the Windy City for nothing.:(
P.S. Hope you enjoy some Giordanno’s pizza and Anne Sather’s breakfast while you’re up there. Great city for eats.
