Favorite “PINS” Friday-Southern Inspired

Happy Friday friends! Today my favorite “Pins” reflect my love for southern fashion. I found most of these on my Aunt Pat’s Beauty & Fashion board. I had to smile because we like so many of the same clothes and jewelry.

I come from a long family line of “shoppers”. Good shoppers, if you want it, they. will. find. it.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy these “PINS”!

I thought I’d pop a makeup picture in just for fun! Looks like I will be doing a video soon, after seeing all the comments from yesterday’s post. 🙂

You can tell there’s a few things I love from these “PINS”—Stripes, Monograms and Polka dots. Love them all!

  1. I love stripes too! And I absolutely adore those bubble necklaces…they certainly make a statement!

  2. I adore Southern style. There is something so lace and denim, proper and finished about it…wish I could find the right words. I have 2 friends I went to high school with who were native Texans. They always looked marvelous. They have since found their way back home to Texas and are both still super Southern fashion ladies. One of them shows up to her son’s baseball games looking very appropriate for the venue, but still like a million bucks! I was born in San Antonio, TX, but moved away as a small child. Alas! None of that good Southern stuff rubbed off on me!

  3. Yes, I definitely still show my Southern roots in my fashion preferences, even though I’ve lived in the Pacific NW for 20 years! I’m not so much into stripes, but LOVE polka dots and monograms. I also think a love of color and “preppy” are aspects of Southern style. Your southern vibe is probably one reason why I’m drawn to your blog! :o)

  4. Thanks Cyndi! I feel honored that you mentioned me in your post. Love you so much!
