What I Wore-My Style

Don’t think you’ve got your days mixed up, it’s not Wednesday! I usually share my What I Wore-My Style post on Wednesday but I have a special post tomorrow, so I’m sharing this a day early. It’s good to change things up sometimes!

Nothing says summer to me, like a white skirt. I’ve seen this style skirt everywhere, so I decided to give it a try. I’m not sure it’s the most flattering but it is comfortable.

I’m trying to incorporate comfortable summer skirts into my wardrobe. I don’t want to wear my capri’s all the time.

  1. I have purchased several really nice, cotton skirts at Good Will recently that are perfect to wear with a t-shirt and sandals for summer, but everytime I put one on I think something is just not quite right. I just need to go for it I guess! Both the white and polka dot skirts are cute on you. Great summer look.

  2. I just bought the same t-shirt from Target as the white one you’re wearing. My dilemma is why on earth is it so long? I am only 5’3″ so I really don’t need a thigh length shirt. Have you found that to be true of most t’s lately?

  3. Each and every look is adorable. I love skirts, shifts and t-shirt dresses as well (Think Lacoste in awesome colors.)
I agree a shorter, more fitted top might suit the white skirt better. You have a nice waist, show it off! I also think there’s a style of capri for everyone,,,it’s just a matter of getter the correct length and flare.
Regarding baggy knees…exercise! I once thought I was getting this, but when I went back to running and leg work-outs it disappeared. Curel lotion helps tremendously with the dread “crepiness”.
I’m glad you changed it up…I was just thinking it’s a bit boring when I know what all my bloggers are going to post on a given day…keep us guessing just a bit.

  4. Yes. I LOVE wearing skirts. Just wish I had more. If I could I would wear skirts and dresses every single day.

  5. You look super cute, as always, Cyndi 🙂 I love wearing skirts in the summertime. I think they are soo comfortable.

  6. I just love that striped top! So cute.

I also have been trying to go to skirts more. Love the white one! (note to self go to TJ Maxx and look for skirts!) I’m not sure capri’s work for me — after years of wearing them.

    Have a great week Cyndi!

  7. Oh, you just look too cute in all of these! Very summery and relaxed! I’m a skirt/dress girl in the summer. I like capris too but I’m short and as we all know capris make everyone’s legs look shorter, so, my best bet seems to be skirts and dresses:) I love love love your quote as well! Blessings Krista

  8. I think the white skirt would look more flattering if you put it with a different style top. It’s a really cute skirt! I’ve noticed that longer tops sometimes make skirts look less flattering.

  9. Lately, I’ve been drawn to skirts, but I have a problem with my legs and knees. I now have the baggy, saggy knees 🙁 And, since I”m short, longer skirts and maxi dresses are out of the question. However, I’m still wearing the skirts!
