4th Of July Fashion

I don’t know why, but 4th of July always sneaks up on me. I want to wear something cute for the holiday, but I’m not too fond of the flag t-shirt fashion. It’s not really me.

I’d rather take some pieces I already have and add some accessories to them. That way I can wear them more than just one day a year.

I don’t own all of these pieces but I have some variations of them and I think they would look great for a 4th of July celebration. I like a comfortable casual look.

Especially since my brother, son and son-in-law set off some fireworks of their own and I like to be able to run quick if they mess up and shoot them towards me (they probably would do that on purpose). 🙂 As you can see they are NOT professionals!

July

Anywho, back to 4th of July fashion. Here’s some inspiration to get you thinking about what wo wear.

Most of us have a white shirt and jean shorts or capris. You can easily make it a 4th of July outfit.

I love stripes and this bracelet is perfect anytime but it’s a great touch for a 4th of July outfit.

Do you know what you’re wearing to your 4th of July get together? Which of these outfits are your favorite?

Beauty for the Heart~~In honor of our nations birthday, I thought I’d share a quote from John Adams, our 2nd president of the United States of America and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

“Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God … What a Eutopia, what a Paradise would this region be.”

Have a blessed day!

  1. All three outfits are adorabLe. I think my favorite is the second one. I don’t wear the t-shirt style either but I would wear items like you chose. Great ideas. Thx for the tips 🙂

  2. Hi Cyndi!

Love that first outfit…especially those pants. Do you know the source?

I’m sure you will look amazing in whatever you wear. Share some pics with us.

  3. Canada Day was y’day and it totally snuck up on me! I’m like you, Cyndi, I don’t care for the typical flag tees but choose red and whites instead! We had a super fun, and HOT day to celebrate. Plus, our cities’ fireworks were out of this world! Had all my sisters here for a few days so now today is cleaning up and relaxing …. 🙂 Hope you have a fab. wee! xox

  4. LOVE the first one!!! I got my nautical shellac mani yesterday! I chose no flags so it would look cute for a week or two after! Thanks for your tips!

  5. These are so cute! I’m wearing red, white and blue today just because I was feeling festive a little early. I went with white capris, red tank and a blue 3/4 length cardigan.
