I don’t know why, but 4th of July always sneaks up on me. I want to wear something cute for the holiday, but I’m not too fond of the flag t-shirt fashion. It’s not really me.

I’d rather take some pieces I already have and add some accessories to them. That way I can wear them more than just one day a year.

I don’t own all of these pieces but I have some variations of them and I think they would look great for a 4th of July celebration. I like a comfortable casual look.

Especially since my brother, son and son-in-law set off some fireworks of their own and I like to be able to run quick if they mess up and shoot them towards me (they probably would do that on purpose). 🙂 As you can see they are NOT professionals!

Anywho, back to 4th of July fashion. Here’s some inspiration to get you thinking about what wo wear.

Most of us have a white shirt and jean shorts or capris. You can easily make it a 4th of July outfit.

I love stripes and this bracelet is perfect anytime but it’s a great touch for a 4th of July outfit.
