Happy Hump Day friends! I’m sure you’re busy getting ready for some 4th of July cookouts. We’re getting together with my family tonight. The theme today for What I Wore-My style is “white ankle jeans”.
I purchased these a few months ago from The Limited and I wear them all the time. They’re comfortable and so summery.
I also added a gold clutch to this outfit. Clutch purses seem to be the must have accessory this summer.

Beauty For the Heart~~I was looking through some of my Mom’s books last night and I found this written on a piece of paper in Mom’s handwriting. I don’t know where she got it, but this is what it says:
Jesus is not only in you; He is before you to lead you. He is behind you to guard you. He is beside you to support and comfort you. He is above you to bless you.

Hi Bridget! I don’t have a great answer. I know some people have to buy expensive shoes, I’m just not one of those people. I can wear most shoes and they’re comfortable for me.
But there’s nothing wrong with having a cute pair of expensive flats to wear to school everyday. 🙂

I love your style sense! I am a middle school teacher and I stand most of the day. For this reason, I am reluctant to buy inexpensive shoes. Do you find this to be the case? I see you buy shoes from Khol’s and Target.

the fashions are great but I really want to thank you for the handwritten words from your mother. Of all the things I could have chosen from my mother the handwritten drawn things mean so much. Her Christmas card address book is so meaningful. little comments and notations are just priceless.
