Skin Care Products That Really Work

This is one of those hot off the press posts! This morning on The Today Show there was a segment from Good Housekeeping about the best anti-aging skin care products.

So in case you missed it, here are some of my favorites!

Skin Care Products That Really Work

This was the gold winner for day cream moisturizer, Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. It has a 30 SPF, Yay! The best thing it’s only around $21!

Skin Care Products That Really Work

Boots No. 7 Lift & Luminate Night Cream was the gold winner for night creams. Again the price is great, around $21.

Lastly, I would love to try this eye cream, Avene Retrinal Eyes. It has to be bought through a physicians office so I’m going to check with my dermatologist. It’s around $44 which is less than the eye cream I’m using now. This eye cream was the silver winner (the gold one was $260, which is out of my price range).

Skin Care Products That Really Work

Well, I just wanted to share this with ya’ll. If you’re like me, you’re always looking for good skin care that will slow down the aging process. Sometimes I think I wake up with a new wrinkle every day!

Have you tried any of these products? Don’t you love good products that don’t cost a fortune?

  1. The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if
it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube
sensation. My apple ipad is now broken and she
has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but
I had to share it with someone!

  2. Greetings I am so excited I found your webpage, I really found
you by error, while I was researching on Yahoo for something
else, Anyhow I am here now and would just like to say
cheers for a incredible post and a all round exciting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to
browse it all at the moment but I have saved it and
also added your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read much more, Please do keep up
    the awesome job.

  3. I am 37 and had a few fine lines developing. I tried some products that were expensive, but did not do what they said. I tried the Neutrogena after seeing it repeatedly on beauty blogs and I love the results! I can’t see the fine lines! I am recommending this to all my girlfriends. Love it.

  4. I saw the segment on the Today Show and I appreciated Good Housekeeping choosing products that are in my price range, too. Currently I use Boots No. 7 day cream, the serum, and the night cream. The day cream only has a 15 spv, and it would be better if it was 30.
I use a daily face wash by Neutrogena. I started using it when my face started breaking out like it did when I was a teenager. I was 40 at the time. I am almost 50, and I haven’t had a zit since I started using it.
I am anxious to try the Neutrogena eye cream. I’m hoping it can eliminate my crows feet like the face wash eliminated my zits! I will let you know.

  5. Cyndi- I have not tried any of the above, but my derm suggested ROC as well…all of the products are pretty good. Been using them for years, and people think I am 10 years younger! Keep your great posts coming! Have a wonderful day.

  6. I also get the popup ads scrolling in the middle and popup ads scroll up from the bottom left screen. The one up now is Suave Body Care. Enjoy all your posts.

  7. I’ve used the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair for EYES and it’s wonderful!!! Great product for the price. A step up from that which I’m using now and also love is Bobbi Brown’s eye cream. Thanks for the other products… will check them out. 🙂

  8. Great post! I’m an Olay girl since my mom is/was and she has great skin but I may try that Neutrogena moisturizer next go round. I’m committed to one with an spf.

As for the pop ups, they are all over. Covering pictures and always at the bottom. Sorry that’s been a pain to deal with.

  9. I’m pinning this post, Cyndi — missed the segment as I’m back in my classroom this week. One of my goals this year is to take better care of myself, so I love getting your take on products like these! Thanks for helping this 40-something out!! 🙂

  10. Yes the Pandora ads cover the entire content of your post. I have to close them out in order to see any more of your blog. The other ads are small little boxes that move down the page with me as I’m scrolling. Hope this helps 🙂

  11. Lisa are the Pandora ads popping up over my content or are they in my sidebar?? I’m having such a hard time getting these fixed. RRgh!
    Thanks for your patience!
    Cyndi

  12. Thx for the tips Cyndi. I hope you will update us if you any of these products and let us know your results :). By the way, the “pop-up” ads are still occurring. Now I’m seeing a lot from Pandora, amongst others :(. Have a blessed day 🙂
