My Latest Stitch Fix!

Today I’m sharing my latest Stitch Fix box with you. If you read my blog very often, you know what Stitch Fix is about but just in case you’re new around here, you can read here and here to find out more about Stitch Fix.

This box was a winner for me because I loved all five pieces. I’ve asked them to send me transitional pieces for fall. I’m ready to start adding to my fall wardrobe even if the weather is still a little too warm to start wearing them.

They sent me this necklace and I’m a sucker for necklaces. I wouldn’t have kept it because I already have a blue one but I let my sister borrow it a month ago and I’ve not seen it since. Being the nice sister that I am, I told her to keep it and I’ll keep this one.

I’m also a sucker for wrap dresses. I love this one! The colors are right on trend for fall. I can wear it with black boots now and then when it gets colder I can add black tights and my black boots.

This is a navy and white polka dot blouse. For fall, I’ll pair it with dark jeans and brown boots. It has small gold buttons so I’ll pop some gold accessories too.

Okay, this one was tricky. The black and white polka dot sweater was a definite. I paired it with the striped black skirt they sent me because I love to mix patterns. But I’m not sure the skirt is flattering on me because of the pleats.

I might have to add a cute top with the striped skirt and wear a black blazer to hide the pleats but I think it’s doable.

Well, that’s my latest stitch fix box! Some great pieces to add to my fall wardrobe that I can mix and match several different ways.

Beauty For the Heart~~I was thinking about the seasons this morning. There’s a touch of fall in the air. Summer has not ended but the days are beginning to change. This verse came to my mind.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease. Genesis 8:22 His promises are always true!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Can you give us the brand of the polka dot sweater and striped skirt. It is just so cute and you wear it so well! Thanks!

  2. You look so classy in the polka dot top with striped skirt. I wouldn’t add the blazer, it covers up your darling top and tiny waistline. Blazer would be cute with your white pants and some colorful flats! Thanks for sharing with us. I love your blog!

  3. These all look great on you! I just discovered stitch fix myself and got my first shipment last week. Wearing what I kept right now as I head off to my job. It’s fun! But I have limited myself to one shipment a season for now.

I agree you would look great in a feed sack! Ha ha! You are beautiful and thanks for helping us all ‘pull it together’ inside and out!

  4. I love you in those outfits. You said you thought you should lose 2 sizes smaller to look good in the stripe skirt, first of all 2 sizes smaller and a big puff of wind would blow you away. I think you would look great in a feed sack. It is nice to see someone dressing like a lady and I could only dream of looking that great. (I have to lose 8 sizes. God Bless

  5. By the way, I was in Target tonight and saw a polka-dot cardigan – for anyone interested in “copying” your sweater!

  6. Wow that whole box was spot on for you! I love the skirt with the blazer. Have you thought about perhaps pairing the skirt with a bright colored sweater? That may look nice too! Susan

  7. Your stylist did a great job and the pieces looks super on you. I agree with many other responders who liked the skirt and polka dot top. It is classy and different, in a great way. Blessings to you and as always, thanks from my heart to yours!

  8. Who ever your stylist is, she was right on the mark! Everything looks great on you and i really like the necklace! Hope i get one in my next Fix! Love your “fashion” blogs!

  9. I agree with those who said they like the striped skirt with polka dot sweater. How would you feel about adding a wide black belt to the outfit? It might be the finishing touch! I’m not fond of the blazer with that skirt. You look terrific in the pleats!! Also love the wrap dress–very versatile.

  10. I agree with the other comments. The polka dot with the stripe looks much better than the blazer. The other outfits are adorable too!! Thx for sharing 🙂

  11. I agree with all those who wrote that they liked the striped skirt with the polka dot sweater better than with the blazer. That first combination just seems to have more pizazz! I think the blazer is a little too long to be flattering with the skirt’s length. Just my opinion! 🙂 As always, thanks for sharing.

  12. Hi Cyndi.

You look amazing in all of the outfits. I like the striped skirt with the polka dot sweater. The mixed patterns are so cute and on trend. The wrap dress is great on you also.

Hope you have a great week!

  13. I think you look great in the polka dot sweater and striped skirt. No one could look better in the pleats than you do. I’m glad you kept all the pieces.

  14. I so agree… you look great in the pleated skirt – tiny!! I think its much more flattering and cuter without the blazer! ALL the outfits are cute too… they do a good job!

  15. Cyndi – you look great in all of the outfits! I really love the polka dot top and striped skirt together! So adorable and fun! The blazer makes the skirt look a little frumpy.

Thank you for your inspiring website!

  16. This comment section really needs an edit button! I meant you could wear the 1st dress now! Please excuse the other redundancies and typos.

  17. So much to say about all of these darling outfits. The wrap dress is by far one of my favs. You look awesome in it and I would wait to wear it, if the material is light enough. It would look great with some neutral wedge mules for a cooler evening or air-conditioned space.
It polka-dot is also sweet and might also look good with a brown leather belt, either skinny or wide as you showed a while ago. I’m liking you in the navy. It’s also a good look with jeans or tucked into a high-waist skirt.
I like the striped skirt on you, but not so much with that particular jacket. I think a thin belt on a longer formfitting sweater could change the look. I have a similar one and found it really improved it, but if you’re on the fence give it a pass.
Btw, I’m really liking your makeup these days; you look like a kid! CTD

  18. I think you look amazing in all of the outfits, but I definitely prefer the skirt without the blazer. I think the pleats are quite flattering on you. My favorite outfit on you, by far, is the wrap dress. It’s absolute perfection!!!

  19. I like the skirt without the blazer. You have the figure for it either way. 🙂 Super cute! I can’t wear stripes (too much chest and hip) so I wear them in a scarf or purse! There’s always a way and I say if you can wear them on your body, you must for the rest of us! 😀

  20. Amen to His promises!! I can see why u loved this box! Such gorgeous items… Love love the second last pics but the rest r beautiful too! U r such a nice sister haha… I have three so I know what “borrowing” is all about! 😉

  21. I LOVE the wrap dress and am drawn to them in the store every time. My daughter pulls me away but I go right back. They are like choir robes, they hide a multitude of sins. 🙂 You look beautiful in all of those outfits though.
