Hi! It’s Tie It Together Thursday! Today I’m styling a mother-of-the-bride dress.
Missy sent me this dress that she’s wearing in October to her daughter’s wedding.
I could not help but think classic! It’s simple but elegant and being from the south, when I think elegant, I can’t help but think of pearls.
If you’re from the south, monograms and pearls are staples in your wardrobe. I would wear pearls with a dress but I’d also pop them on with a t-shirt.
Here are the pieces I added to this dress~~~
Here they are put together. This outfit is timeless! Because the weather will be cool, she can add a wrap and black pantyhose. (I would wear black hose over nude, that’s just my opinion.) She could also add a couple more bracelets.

Love..! When at first you said pearls, I thought ugh….pearl stands, posts,etc…but No you’ve found a great modern alternative to the classic pearl; an option even I (a gal not too warm on pearls) would wear!
That dress is so classy! You have accessorized it perfectly, I LOVE pearls. The way you have put this look together allows the simple chicness of the dress stand on it’s own and is quietly enhanced with just the perfect thing…PEARLS! Love the shoes too. I CAN’T wait for your 31 days to begin. It was so much fun last year…I’m ready to do it again!
