3 Easy Ways To Tie A Scarf

*******I get a lot of emails about tying scarves so I’m sharing this post from last year again. This is 3 ways I like to tie my scarf. Hope it helps!

Good morning! Today I’m sharing 3 easy ways to tie a scarf. You know, I love wearing scarves and I’ve been wearing these three ways a lot over the last month.

 1. The Double Loop Wrap

Place the scarf around your neck with the ends hanging in the back. Loop the ends of the scarf around and back to the front. Tie the two ends together with a simple knot to make the second layer.

2. The Pretzel

Fold scarf in half and wrap it around your neck. You’ll have a loop on one side and the two ends on the other. Pull one end through the loop. Twist the loop and pull the second end through. Adjust as desired.

3. Neck Tie Knot (tied like a man’s neck tie).

This is perfect for women who don’t like a scarf wrapped tight around their neck.

Put the scarf around your neck with the ends to the front (I have one end a couple of inches longer than the other). Take the longest end and fold over the other two times. Take this same end up through the back and through the loop you created. Pull the ends taunt.

There are so many scarves to choose from: thick, thin, square, rectangular, infinity and more. Scarves can add color and texture to your outfit and if the weather is cold can help keep you warm.

Have you tried any of these ways to tie a scarf? What’s your favorite way to tie a scarf?
