Beauty Box 5 Review-November 2013

Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. It’s one of the cheapest beauty subscription boxes – only $8.25 a month with an annual subscription. ($12 for a monthly subscription and $10 for a 3 month subscription.)

Beauty Box 5 Review-November 2013

Each month you receive 4-5 full size and sample size beauty products. Beauty Box 5 ships to the US and Canada.

I’ve been asked to give my honest opinion about the box I receive each month. I’ve only had one other monthly subscription, and that’s Birchbox and they seem to be very similar.

So here’s my review of the November 2013 Beauty Box 5.

Each box should come with a card detailing the items included for that month. For some reason this month, I didn’t have a card in my box. That was a little disappointing but I’m sure it was just a mistake and that happens sometimes.

Bellapierre Glitter Pot in Storm – Full Size, Value $14.99 and Body Drench Moisturizing Lip Balm – Full Size, Value $2.99

Beauty Box 5 Review-November 2013

Both of these are full size. I don’t use glittery eye shadow so I’ll have to give this one away but this time of the year, I can always use lip balm.

Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant – Full Size, Value $8.49 AND a coupon for another free Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant – Value $8.49

Beauty Box 5 Review-November 2013

Wow! This is nice to get in a box. I’m excited to try this plus I get another one free!

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash – 2 oz Value $1 and Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Mask – Value $2

Beauty Box 5 Review-November 2013

I love Aveeno products and I’ve already used this body wash. It’s smells wonderful! I love any kind of facial products so I’ll be trying the clay mask soon.

Overall, this was a really good box! The value was $37.96. Not bad for the monthly price.

Have you tried any monthly beauty subscriptions? Which ones have you tried?

  1. So your box paid for itself with the Deodorant–and twice if you like it and use the coupon. I subscribe to BirchBox and ipsy. May have to cancel BirchBox and try Beauty Box 5. I don’t find that BirchBox contains products I would be willing to pay for.

  2. it has been a few years since I had a beauty subscription so I cannot recall the name of it. The biggest challenge was that there was a major accumulation of certain products and long after letting the subscription lapse I was still using them plus some even expired. I will be anxious to see how this works out for you.
