Each month you receive 4-5 full size and sample size beauty products. Beauty Box 5 ships to the US and Canada.

So here’s my review of the December 2013 Beauty Box 5.

Each box comes with a card detailing the products, and most brands include exclusive coupon codes for Beauty Box 5 subscribers.

Beauty Box 5 Review-December 2013

Here are the products I received this month.

Beauty Box 5 Review-December 2013

  • NYX Love in Rio Eye Shadow Palette – Full size! Value $6. This is a pretty palette with just a touch of shimmer. I will definitely use the brown color.
  • Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion – 2 oz Value $1. I’ll be popping this in my purse. My hands need moisturizing!
  • Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer –  .5 oz Value $1. I’m sure this is good but I’ll probably give it to my daughter to use. I need anti-aging moisturizers. 🙂
  • OFRA Cosmetics Lipgloss Plumper in Sultry – Full size! Value $12.95. This is a little dark for me.
  • Every Beauty Flexible Foot Smoother – Full Size! Value 4.99. This I can use and I can’t wait to try it.

Overall, this was another good box! I will use most of the products. The value was $25.90. Not bad for the monthly price.

Beauty For the Heart~~This is going to be a busy week! Christmas is here and I still have a lot to get done. Gifts to buy and wrap. Food to prepare and parties to attend.

Although I’m busy. I want to prepare my heart for the true celebration~~Jesus’ birth. Take some time today to read Luke 2:1-20. Let’s not forget what’s most important!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I am feeling the same way a bout Christmas this year. In fact, I have done NO shopping and really have no desire to. (You have a grandchild and I realize that makes all the difference!). I want to sit quietly and focus on Jesus this season.

  2. Cyndi, I’m guessing that a subscription to this service would be a fun gift for someone! I can imagine that a teenage girl or a young mom who doesn’t have much money to spend on herself might really appreciate getting this box every month.

I have to say, though–surely you’ll use the blue eye shadow from that palette, right? Because lots of blue eye shadow is such a great look for women over 40. (You know I’m kidding!!)
