Fashion Over 40-Winter Fashion

Happy Hump Day! I loved blog swapping last week with Jo-Lynne but today I’m back here with some winter fashion.

By the end of February I’m going to be ready to ditch this cold weather. I’m praying for an early spring!

I wore this dress to church Sunday. I wore it last August to the Haven conference when the weather was warm. It’s sleeveless so I added a black cardigan, black tights and boots.

We had one day of above freezing weather so I wore this collared shirt from Target.

You can’t see the necklace I have on very well, so here’s a better picture. It’s from Francesca’s.

This is why I’m having a hard time taking outdoor pictures. 🙂

I decided to come in, I can’t stand to be outside when it’s cold and snowy.

  1. Cyndi, you are a gal after my own heart with keeping warm. For years I would wear turtlenecks from November to May (I live in the Northeast). Now with fashionable scarves I can dress with flair and keep warm. Love your style!

  2. Sunny and 70’s here in Phoenix…..sorry ladies. ;). Love outfit #2. As usual Cyndi…. you look great in all of them.

  3. I love outfit #1!!! One of my all time faves. I don’t mind the cold and snow at all, at least i wouldn’t if i could find someone to finish my boiler install. I at least like to have heat IN my house!

  4. Just got my first Stitch Fix 2 weeks ago….i can tell this is going to be fun! I
LOVE how you pulled the blue dress together for colder weather by adding a cardigan, tights and boots. It’s an adorable outfit change!! You look amazing.

  5. Snowy and oh so cold here as well. Plus side to that – snow day for me! Down side – I can’t get out and about! HA! Actually, I’m enjoying some down time. Cute outfits!

  6. curious to know if there is an ability to refer to your Q&A post so we do not keep asking the same questions ?another timely posting for beauty of the heart.
Outfits just keep getting better and better. \Cabin Fever health epidemic for your area in Feb.

  7. Just wanted to say a thank you for your Beauty For the Heart message; it drove right to my heart for somethings I’m struggling with the past year (s). l am reading Beth Moore ‘ “Breaking Free”, & after reading the chapter, The Obstacle of Unbelief, I got onto your website & read the message, it truly tied into what God wants me to see. Thank you your website, & for your “Beauty For the Heart” segment, because you believe it is the right thing to do. :0)

  8. You look great in skinny jeans with a top that shows off your waist, Cyndi. You are seriously making me want a jacket like that and to join Stitch Fix!
