Day 3 of 31 Days of Fall Fashion-Neutrals

Happy Friday!! It’s Day 3 of 31 Days of Fall Fashion. One of the emails I get a lot is for work wear outfits so today I’m sharing a neutral outfit for work.

You don’t have to wear high heels with this outfit. You could wear flats or even boots. I just choice my classic black pump.

It might not be cold enough for you to wear a scarf yet so you could always add a statement necklace with this sweater.

I love a classic look and it doesn’t get more classic than a leopard print sweater .

  1. Hi Cyndi,
I just love reading your blog and looking at your fashion pix. Your hair is gorgeous and you could look good in a sack !! Just love reading this. Hugs, Kathy

  2. Great outfit, love classics 🙂 One of the best things about classics is you can wear them with so many different things and they are wardrobe staples that will last. I am loving a little animal print anything. I hope this trend lasts for a while. Love scarves!

  3. Cyndi,
I know you have been alerted but I, too, can’t read your blog due to the CNN Go ad. I thought the more people who let you know, the more help it would be in finding the issue.

  4. The CNN Go ad might make money for you but I will not be back until it is gone! Not being mean but you can’t read your blog. Sorry!

    1. Donna I’m so sorry about the ad, but I think my blog has been hacked. I would never put an annoying pop up ad on my blog. Ever!!
I’m trying desperately to get it taken care of.
      Sorry again,
      cyndi

    2. I agree with this comment! Ads are ok if you are able to make the choice to look at them, but when they make a blog unreadable, it’s too much. This CNN ad is the worst I’ve ever seen! I really enjoy reading your blog and hope you’ll rethink having this type of advertising.

      1. Deborah, I’m not sure if you saw my reply.

        1. Sorry, I think your reply posted after my comment. How frustrating for you to have your blog hacked like that. I hope you’re able to get it fixed soon!

  5. Hey Cyndi Girl! Happy Friday! LOVE this outfit, every last detail of it! The sweater is so cute and the scarf sets it off perfectly! I really like the heels you are wearing with it, but I cannot wear heels, boo. I guess I could go with a dressier flat to give this the same classy look. It’s chilly here in Mid-Missouri today, that outfit would be perfect! Have a fun weekend! Be Blessed!

  6. I have enjoyed your blog. Thank you. Thought you’d want to know that in the middle of reading your blog an annoying cnn ad comes on with no way to cancel it as far as I can tell. It really interferes with reading your blog (forced to watch the thing after a minute or so in your blog). Even in the middle of writing this comment the cnn ad appears. I can’t imagine this was your intent which is why I wanted to let you know.

        1. Dawn, I’m so sorry about the ad, but I think my blog has been hacked. I would never put an annoying pop up ad on my blog. Ever!!

  7. A nice soothing color palette. Great advice about a statement necklace or other shoe options. I can’t wait to wear scarfs! Actually I am leaving for a 3 week trip for Ireland tomorrow and will get to wear scarves very soon! Will miss your 31 days, but catch up when I return… If anyone wants to follow my Ireland journey, go to my blog and follow me on Facebook as it’s the only place I will be doing updates… https://www.facebook.com/VersatileStyleByTracey

  8. Cindy,
Bravo, this outfit is tres chic and the scarf is very on-trend, although a statement necklace is a good option and one could even use it to add a pop of color! The slacks are very slimming (for me that would mean I buy them in every color – ha ha).

  9. I love that color on you Cyndi. I just don’t like the scarf. I must be one of the few that doesn’t get the scarf craze. It looks like you have a noose around your neck. I think a nice necklace to compliment the outfit would work better. A scarf with a coat or jacket, ok, but without, I just don’t get it. Again, it must just be me because I see women everywhere with this look. You look terrific!

    1. Hi! Just wanted to give you some non noose options. There is a phenomenal you tube video that has been around for a few years that gives tons of scarf tie options, including some that are not coiled around the neck. Wendy’s lookbook-how to tie scarves. Was very helpful for me!
