31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 7)

Good morning! Today is Day 7 of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion.

31 Days of Fall Fashion is coming soon!
I’m cheating a little and I hope you’ll give me some grace. We’re in the midst of  dealing with the loss of our nephew and today is the funeral.

Even in the midst of this tragedy, I see God clearly working and I’m clinging to these words from my Mom, “I don’t always understand God, but I trust Him.”

Okay, there’s not a good way to transition from that to fall fashion but here’s some fall fashion from two of my friends who have amazing style.

Jo-Lynne blogs at Musings of a Housewife and she shared this adorable dress on her blog and styled it with these fabulous pumps from Payless ShoeSource.  Yep! You read that right, Payless ShoeSource. As soon as I get a chance, I’m heading to Payless to pick these up.

Alison blogs at Get Your Pretty On and she shared this post on 7 Ways to Wear Leggings. I love the way she styled them here with this gorgeous blue tunic.

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 7)

Both of these women are over 40 (I know they don’t look like it) and have wonderful blogs. I love their style and their heart!

How many of you wear leggings? I’m going to try and style some soon!

Beauty For the Heart~~“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:3-14

Have a blessed day!

  4. Praying for you and your family during this difficult time. I certainly would have understood you postponing your 31 days of fashion. Love your outfits and your inspiration!

  5. hope things went well for all of you today.
prayers for all of you. there really are no other words to comfort more than when you know the Lord and have Him for your comforter.

  6. I don’t wear leggings at all; i think they are inappropriate for women older than young twenty-somethings (college girls). I know, I’m probably in the great minority on this fashion issue. I think JoLynne’s dress is great!

  7. You are a brave lady to remember us even in your time of sorrow. God Bless you and keep you and your family in His care. Much peace and comfort to you and yours today!
Love leggings – I like to wear the thick “jeggings” also with my little ankle booties with scrunched leg warmers and an over sized hoodie or sweater…. Do you wear the leg warmers, Cyndi? Did you ever do a blog on them? I would love to read it.

  8. God’s grace and our prayers are with you on this day, and continuing long after this day. BLESS YOU and love you, Cyndi!

  9. Hi Cyndi, So sorry to hear about the sudden death of Wayne’s nephew. Such a tragedy when a young man with a family is lost. Praying for your family.
