I’m not sure if you all have seen the Herringbone Vest craze on Pinterest. But I’ve seen this vest everywhere!
My herringbone vest came in my Stitch Fix box several months ago. To be honest, I wasn’t that impressed and almost sent it back. For some reason, I kept it and then I started seeing it everywhere.
It’s kind of like when you get a new (or new to you) car and you didn’t notice how many people had that car until you start driving one. That’s how I felt about this vest. 🙂
The vest seems popular which my sweet friends at Stitch Fix knew but because I’m so uncool, I didn’t know it. Story of my life!
Anyhoo, I decided to pull it out and style it! I wore it last Saturday all day and I got tons of compliments on it. Umm, I’m going to wear it more often!
I’ve looked for this vest online but they’re sold out everywhere. J Crew Factory had a similar vest but they now only have it in red and black. I think it’s cute too!

Wow the mascara really makes a difference. I am curious, I hate in in the afternoon when my mascara give me raccoon eyes. Does this do that? And you look great in the vest and plaid scarf. Old Navy has a similar vest for those who are interested.

wow this sounds too good to be true. I have not seen this in any stores. in years passed, there have been other mascaras with fibers that just absolutely ruined being able to wear contacts. since you have recently begun wearing them again, what would you say about this application?

Mascara is a must for me, having blue eyes and fair skin. Otherwise people ask if I’m sleepy. I would be excited to try the fabulous mascara since buying mascara that does all it says it will can turn into a trial and error process that gets a little expensive. Hi Cyndi, This looks like a great mascara. Being considerably older than you I can use all the help I can get. Watch your blog everyday, love it. Meeting a few friends haven’t seen in over a year in about 10 days and watching closely to put that perfect outfit together.

I love that vest! I have been looking everywhere for one. They have been running them on Jane and Groopdealz, but they run small, and sadly, I am not small! And now I wish I had bought that scarf at Target when I saw it – sold out everywhere now! Can you show how you fixed it? It looks great, and I never can get mine to roll and sit like that on myself.
I read where someone found a similar one at TJ Maxx.

Hi Cyndi. Thx for the giveaway …your eyes look great with this mascara on 🙂 so is it like false eye lashes?? do you remove them and then reapply each day?? Or is it more like mascara with the application? Sorry for not understanding ;-(
Much easier than false eyelashes! You apply your own mascara. Let it dry. Then add a gel to your lashes and then add the fibers and then another coat of the gel.
The gel and the fibers are in tubes like mascara. It lasts all day and then I remove it at night with my makeup remover.
