I try to buy quality pieces that will last more than one season but every few years, I usually have to buy a few new things. This year I’m going to have to purchase a new trench coat, mine has seen better days!
These are the pieces that you can mix and match and wear with trendy pieces or just add some cute accessories and voilà, you are ready to go!
8. Dark Wash Jeans (I like to have different styles, skinny, bootcut and this year’s trend the flare leg.)
10. Classic Pump (Black or Nude, I prefer nude these days.)
Okay, it’s hard to stick to 10 essentials so here is a bonus one!
11. Ballet Flat (Leopard is considered a neutral but if you wan to play it safe, go with black.)
Alright! I think that gets us ready for fall! Before long, we’ll have cool crisp mornings, pumpkin spice lattes and the gorgeous tree colors of red, orange and yellow.
Do you have these fall wardrobe essentials? What would you add?
Beauty For the Heart~~I have always liked the quote from C.S. Lewis about integrity, “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.”
Scripture also talks about integrity.
Declare me innocent, O Lord, for I have acted with integrity; I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. Put me on trial, Lord, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart. For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth. Psalm 26:1-3
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. Proverbs 10:9
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:3
Let’s be women of integrity, whether we’re at home alone or we’re around a hundred people. Christ deserves our best.
Have a blessed day!
