Fashion Friday Boutique Style

Boutique-styleIt’s Fashion Friday and today I’m sharing a couple of cute tops from Glamour Farms. Many of you have commented about how great Glamour Farms customer service is and how quickly you get your order.

They have so many cute clothes, it’s worth checking them out! Make sure you use my discount code to get $10 off your order! Discount code: Spivey217

I love these tops but I’m not sure they’re the best colors for my olive skin. Have I ever told you I’m not a fan of olive skin? Ha!

Anyway, I love the uniqueness of this striped top. It has sequins on the shoulders that dresses it up a bit.

This top has a scoop neckline with long sleeves featuring a thumb notch and ribbed hem. It has a little stretch in it that makes it really comfortable.

When I think of fall, I think of pumpkin patches and fall festivals. We love to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin.

I like to wear something casual but I still want it to be cute. This lightweight sweater would be perfect to wear to the pumpkin patch!

I can’t wait for that first cool weekend to head out and enjoy some fall festivities!

I’m planning on getting some of my fall decorations out this weekend. I like to have them out by September 1st so I can enjoy them for a while.

When do you start decorating for fall?

I’m so excited to begin our fall fashion series on Tuesday! I hope you’ll join us!

  1. Hi Cyndi,
I’m backing up to capture the days that I missed…. I love your Fall colors the first blouse with the thumb sleeves came out in style when my daughter was 14 and she loved then and bought lots of them, but if I would wear one I did like you did, fold them up and not use them. I think that is a younger girl look . But I love the blouse on you, matches the booties perfectly!
Love the thin hoodie also !
I can’t wit to see the pix of your Fall series with Jo-Lynne….. I love her style too. My name is Kerri “Lynne” although everyone pronounces it “Lynn” . I am not sure what Fall decor I will be setting up outside, I do love to decorate inside too, and usually start sometimes in Sept right during or after our Honeybee festival here in Jackson.

  2. I love both looks today, especially the fringed boots! I normally decorate shortly after Labor Day. I have a screened porch and enjoy decorating it for the different seasons.
Looking forward to your fall series!

I too, would enjoy seeing you style your fringed ankle boots with a dress. I have the cutest pair that I can’t wait to wear!

  3. Love the Orange/rust colored sweater on you. The other top, not so much.
We’re getting out our fall decor next weekend.

  4. Hi Cyndi. I love how your first top has glamorous sequins on the shoulders plus the Autumnal colours look lovely on you. Those fringe booties are so on trend to. You look great and I look forward to your Tuesday linkup.

  5. I think the persimmon colored top is very flattering on you! You should wear that for awhile and see what you think, I bet you end up liking it.
I’m a slave to my calendar, I just cannot do any fall decorating until the first day of fall. When it is as hot and humid as it has been, it’s really hard to think or “feel” fall. I did mention to my husband tonight that I was really tiring of the big summer wreath on our front door and could not wait to put a fall one there instead. He looked at me and said, “Don’t you have an ‘in between ‘ one?’

  6. I’ll be decorating for fall next week, and will add just a little more “gratitude-ish” flair in November. 😉

I love them both, but think the russet/paprika looks dynamite on you. My mom had olive skin, dark brown hair, and green eyes. I am blonde/blue, but the eyeshape is the same. 🙂 So jealous of her beautiful olive skin, and she was jealous of my peaches and cream. LOL

  7. I am going to put fall decorations out within the week. I like to enjoy the fall decor because first of November I start on Christmas. Since I put out a lot of Christmas decorations, I like to have them out long enough to justify the work!

Both tops are great but I really like the striped one. It is great looking. I wish I had olive skin, be thankful for it. I will say….you look better in brighter colors but I can’t see you looking bad in anything.

  8. I love your style, girl! Those jeans are amazing on you and I love that they are the Denzien brand!! Aren’t those the best?!?! Those are my faves too!! Xxoo

  9. I like those colors on you! Both outfits are adorable!

I am always anxious to get the fall decor out. I am in the process of refinishing my end tables and coffee table, and I’m sure I will decorate very soon after I put the refinished tables in place. I love to have the fall decorations out early, too. The colors are so cozy and welcoming, and they work well with my rustic decor.

  10. Ohhhh…! GF has some awesome new items I’ve already placed in my cart. BTW would you mind including in your post the size you are wearing? This will help me when sizing items to buy from GF. Many thanks!

  11. Love the hoodie top that isn’t a hoodie. Wrong color for me.
I start decorating for fall the first of Sept. Living in Arizona you have to mark or celebrate the seasons before the next one shows up.

  12. I really like both tops on you, but the “hoodie” is my favorite. I am planning to stop at Glamour Farms, either tomorrow afternoon or Tues. morning on my return trip from my parents near Taylorville, IL. I am looking forward to it, especially since it is not out of the way and only 1 1/2 hours from my parents. Thanks so much for recommending them.
FYI – I bought the grey tunic with the lace inset you featured. A little lighter than I expected, but I love it!
    Thanks for your wonderful blog,

    1. Yeah!! I’m glad you’re stopping by! Give them a hug from me! Just wanted to let you know they are closed on Tuesdays. If you’re going to stop by, I would do it on Saturday. They’re open until 2 (3 EST).
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  13. Cyndi, you look great in everything you share with us! While I do love the tops I have from Glamour Farms, I don’t like that the majority of them are so thin, requiring a tank under them. I am very hot natured, so that extra layer makes me perspire even more. And I like enough support that my breaths don’t shake or droop when I walk, so I do not go without a good bra. Even when it’s cold out, I don’t need a tank to stay warm.

I’m not sure when I’ll get my fall decorations out. I do enjoy them though!

    God Bless!

  14. You look nice today! And I like your hair – the longer length looks good on you!
I ordered the boots and should be getting them any day now. Thanks for featuring the savannah top it looks good with the boots. The colors are similiar and its makes a cute outfit. Gotta start thinking about fall and all the fun clothes that come with the cooler temps!

  15. I LOVE the striped top on you! It’s so cute & you look great in everything! Keep those posts & pictures coming every day!

  16. Cute tops that I would wear, but a little pricey for me. I just turned 59 (a young 59!) Am I too old to wear those fringed boots? Things like that stop me sometimes in the last few years.. Nothing worse than a middle age (or older) trying to be ‘hip’. Big believer in ‘aging gracefully’, but not dowdy!

  17. Olive skin is great. Wrinkles less as you age. I wish I had it!! Love the cute outfits. Still hot here in Savannah. Hope Erika misses us. I think that is her name!:)(hurricane)

  18. Cyndi, I’m a new-ish reader of your blog and I’m enjoying it! I started fall decorating two weeks ago after QVC had several hours of fall decor shows. Couldn’t wait.

  19. Lol I start my fall decorating as soon as September starts and I even hang out my fall flag once school starts. FYI the flag is a bushel of apples and I change it by mid sept to be more harvest oriented . Love the fringe boots! Have you or would you style them with a dress?

  20. You are so cute girl and I totally get the colors with olive skin! If i buy something with colors that aren’t the best for me I have to add a pop of color at the top like a necklace or scarf in a brighter color. 🙂
I’m so ready to put out my fall stuff but I’m going to wait til Sept 15th. I hope it cools off by then too. Have a great weekend!
