Each Monday during the month of August, I’ve been sharing a fall preview of what’s going to be on trend.
I have talked about fall shoes, jewelry, shearling coats and vests and tie neck blouses. I can’t believe today is the last Monday!
Some of the trends they wear on the runway in New York, are not what I think normal, everyday women will wear.
I thought I would end the month with several fall trends we can wear.
1. Fringe-I love to add some fringe to an outfit. It doesn’t have to be drastic but a touch of fringe updates your outfit.
2. Plaid-It wouldn’t be fall without some plaid!
3. Long Cardigan-I love a long cardigan and I will be styling one or more during my 26 days of fall fashion.
4. Stripes-Another trend perfect for fall is stripes.
5. Flare Jeans-They’re back and they’re going to be fun to wear this all!
Well, I guess it’s time to get our party started! Tomorrow begins the 26 Days of Fall Fashion and I’m so glad Jo-Lynne is joining me. We will each post a new fall outfit each day for the month of September (except Sundays) AND we have a fun giveaway to celebrate!

Hey Cyndi Girl, I’m with you, I don’t like overdone fringe, but I saw a hip length cardigan with just the right amount of fringe at TJ Maxx. I almost bought it and then took that second thought…I WISH I would have bought it!! I’m all for plaid shirts and the striped blouse is so pretty.
Do the flare jeans have a wider leg opening that the boot cut? Be blessed!

I’m so happy flare jeans are back! I finally embraced skinny jeans last year, but I think flares are much more flattering on me.
So hard to think of fall clothes today with the temperatures soaring again! But I have to say just looking at that plaid shirt and jeans makes me smile! Bring on the cool weather…and my Uggs! 🙂

This is funny–I just got the courage to try slim/skinny jeans (instead of my favorite flares or bootcuts) this summer. Now, back to the flares. So glad I only bought one or two pairs of skinnies. I can still wear them with boots this fall and winter, right?!

I haven’t really seen any flare jeans yet, but I do want to try them again. Skinnies better not go out of style though, because I just got on that bandwagon last year!
I’ve always been a fan of flared jeans, glad to see them back!! I really like all the fringe I’ve been seeing, and plaid just says Fall to me!
It is funny how plaid says fall just like florals say spring!! I think we should start a movement that reverses that!!! jodie
