26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 9)

tan tunic with fringe bootsWelcome to Day 9 of my 26 Days of Fall Fashion. I wish we lived close enough to sit around and talk face to face. Wouldn’t we have fun?

Each of us with different life experiences. I can only imagine all the stuff we would talk about! 🙂

tan tunic 8Well, we might not get to meet face to face but at least we get to meet here and chat and if there’s one thing we’re good at, it’s chatting. Ha!

Now to some fashion, this tunic is very lightweight, slightly sheer with faux front pockets. I’m wearing the Ahhmazing tank under it in latte.

tan tunic 2I styled it with my skinny jeans and my fringe boots but the next time I wear it, I think I’ll wear black leggings and brown riding boots. Wouldn’t that be cute?

tan tunic 5I’m wearing my Grace and Faith Necklace which I keep wanting to call my Grace and Beauty Necklace. (wink)

tan tunic 4The top is a little bit darker in person than what my pictures are showing. It’s 60% cotton and 40% polyester.

Wayne and I had some fun playing around and he snapped some goofy pictures. It would not have been funny if I had fallen and broke my neck!

Beauty For the Heart~~I LOVE to laugh and to laugh hard. My family will tell you, I laugh easily at any of their jokes and once I start laughing, I have a hard time stopping.

I think laughing is good for the soul. When was the last time you laughed? I mean really laughed.

Today, look for something that makes you laugh or at the very least smile. You might be surprised at how much better you will feel.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 4

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cindy, I have been following you for a few weeks now and love your Grace & Beauty website. Recently we moved and there has been a lot of stress. I have had a few too many days of feeling restless, irritable and discontent, manifesting itself as being nasty to those around me. Got myself pretty on the outside but realized how futile all my fashion efforts seemed if was acting ugly, especially to those dearest to me. I appreciate your mission to shed light on the peace, love and grace that God has for us all. It is so easy to go astray. I always can use a gentle encouraging thought. Peace be with you!

    1. Hi Eva!! Thanks so much for stopping by! We all have days like that which is why I write about it. I need the reminder too!!
      Have a blessed Monday,
      Cyndi

  2. OK, i just ordered the tank, Tunic and the necklace!!! (already have skinny jeans). I ordered the boots a few weeks ago, and can’t wait to wear them. It’s still 100 plus here in Alabama, so i may have to give it a few more weeks!! I found your blog thru Pinterest, and I am so enjoying it!! Loving the devotions, and the fall outfits. You’re gonna make me go broke, girlie!!! Blessings

  3. Okay, so who has a house, or kitchen table big enough for us all to gather around?? As I was reading these comments, and knowing that you have been in Asheville, NC this week, I can just imagine all of us, with coffee in hand, rocking our hearts out, sitting around that enormous fireplace at The Grove Park Inn. Anybody else out there know what I’m talking about? It’s HUGE!
I love the fringe boots on you Cyndi, but I’m 58 ( a young 58, that is) and am still trying to decide if they’re for me. I think I’ve looked at every pair that is out there online. I may just step outside the “box” and do it! Don’t you know God wishes we would step outside more in our Christian witnesses? Thank you Cyndi, for letting God continue to use you and your ministry.

  4. I sure wish we could a get together and chat! I know we would all have a ton of things to talk about! I also think, we would all become instant friends! Someday, I hope we can make this happen!

I love the ease of this outfit and those fringe boots are so cute!
Thank you Cyndi for all the inspiration you share with us!

  5. How cute you look, but you always do 😉 I love the tunic, I would love it with leggings & boots! Laugher is so important, and we can always find a reason to smile! Would love to sit and visit with you!! I’m sure we ladies could laugh together! Have a blessed day Cyndi

  6. Girl, I love to laugh too 🙂 It would be fun to sit down and gab with you and all these lovely ladies that visit your blog.
I think I love the fringe boots more every time I see them too … Love them styled this way!
God Bless You and Laugh out loud today!

  7. All of us ladies being at one locale to chat would be fun. I like seeing you walking on the rock wall! Once again, your outfit is very nice and comfy looking. Laughter is very good for us. As my husband and I were planning our intimate family wedding, I told him that I was afraid I would cry, so I wanted him to do something to keep me from crying. As he is walking down the chapel aisle to meet me half way, he opened his tux jacket to reveal a name tag that said “Hi, my name is Larry Hiller!” Yes, I laughed and in our 21st year of marriage, he still knows how to make me laugh.
    God bless!

  8. Hi Cyndi,
Love your tunic and skinny jeans and frilly boot shoes!!
You are sure ready for the Fall season in everyone of these beautiful outfits!!
    YOU make them beautiful !
I also have a sheer, tan, tunic like this one, but little shorter in length but love it in the Fall with a cami underneath it.
Laughter…. yes, my momma always said it was very good for the soul !
My daughters told me….. The next time you pull up to a drive-thru window, make your order “to go” …. or when ordering a water at a restaurant, order “diet” water…. and get a good laugh ! I did this the other night at our Chinese restaurant … when the waitress asked what drinks will you all be having this evening, I said, “I’ll just have a water, and make that a diet please… hee hee and we all laughed.

    1. I look forward to your posts!! Love all your outfits and you bless my heart with your love for JESUS and his word that you share with us! I have thought before , I wish we could just gather around the kitchen table with coffee and our bibles and talk about Gods goodness and grace that we have experienced. And of course talk about what style and products we love and favorite places to shop 🙂 I absolutely love to laugh with family and friends! and Im like you once i get tickeld about something , especially if Im overly tired i loose my breath laughing! its good medicine! 🙂 Maybe we will happen upon each other one day. My aunt lives across from the LMU campus and we visit her from time to time and Tennessee isnt that far away Have a wonderful day!! Love, Rhonda

  9. I really like this – such a versitile top and it looks comfy too!
What size are you wearing? (Sorry if you said and i missed it)

  10. I love the whole look! I have never worn leggings ever but this will be the year! Love the tunic, and I am going to look at it and see if it is something I can wear to work over black. My fave picture is the one of you balancing on the wall!

  11. Love this look! The tunic is adorable, would love to order it, what size are you wearing and is it very sheer? Enjoying your 26 days….

    1. Hey Trish, I’m wearing a small. Yes it is sheer and would need some kind of tank. But it’s perfect for the in between season. I wore it all day yesterday and loved it. 🙂
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  12. I love that outfit, Cyndi, that is really, really cute, so relaxing and comfortable looking, perfect for the change of the season.

Now if the season would just change here in Oregon, it’s supposed to be near 90 today and near 100 tomorrow…..since I know God also has a sense of humor, I prayed yesterday that He would cool it down a bit for those of us who are ready for cooler temps… 🙂

  13. That top is gorgeous!!!!!!!!! and btw…. It would be an honor to sit on that stone wall and chit chat with you face to face!!! and then.. of course, we could do a little shopping!! lolol .. Have a blessed day…

  14. Cute outfit and glad to see you having fun! The jury is still out on the fringe booties thou. I like them but maybe for the younger crowd. I have a question about the Ahh-mazing tank. I don’t see a size option. Is it one size fits all? If so, that’s unusual. Spanks come in sizes. I’m assuming this is similar. Or am I wrong?

    1. Yes it is one size fits all. These tanks work well under longer tops or you can tuck them in your pants and wear with shorter ones.
They’re had to explain but I like mine and I’m wearing it today with another top. 🙂
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

    2. I felt that way too, the first couple times I saw the fringe boots, but the more I have seen them, the more I started to really like them, and I love the color. Today’s outfit really sealed the deal for me, now I just love them completely 🙂

    1. The first time I clicked it, it took me to a coupon page. I closed it and tried again, It worked the second time. Maybe try again. Hope this helps.

  15. Love this! I am going to have to get the boots. I love them more each time you wear them!

Agree with you that nothing is healthier than a good laugh. Every day should be filled with quick smiles, chuckles and hearty laughter. 🙂

Glad you are enjoying your time away – fun picture to share!

  16. I agree, I would love to have coffee and fellowship with you! I love your style, is the tank “dress length.”

  17. My FAVORITE of your outfits so far! How cute and comfy you look! Those boots absolutely ROCK!
I have a very large family of jokesters, and I agree with you –laughter is indeed, medicine for the soul!
So glad God gave us the gift of laughter…

  18. Hope this doesn’t post twice. Had a glich. Love the pics and outfit on you but not sure I would wear . Love beauty for the heart. We need to laugh more. Will be with friend today that makes that easy. 🙂
