Sunday Encouragement-My Help Comes From You

Believe in yourself and all that you are.This past week we spent several days in Asheville, North Carolina, surrounded by beautiful mountains.

The whole time we were there I kept thinking about Psalm 12:1-3, I lift my eyes to the mountains–where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

I’m so thankful I’m not alone on this journey. People can fail us, and life can be hard but we ALWAYS  have Jesus.

On my best days, He is with me. On my worst days, He is with me. I am never alone!

As you begin this week remember that your helps comes from God and He is with you every moment of everyday.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20

We heard King & Country in concert last year and they were so good. They quote Psalm 121:-3 in this song. I’ve heard it a hundred times but I had never watched the video. It is worth watching!

  1. Thank you for all the words of encouragement you offer daily. They are helping me more than I can say right now. Am an emotional bundle of nerves as I watch my sweet mother-in-law slowly succumb to thyroid cancer. She has been a woman of faith and I struggle with it – maybe fallout from being a nurse and able to “fix things”. Slowly learning to “let go and let God”.

  2. Wow i have heard that song on the radio a dozen times in a week but the video make it so real and powerful. It brought tears to my eyes, we so often forget how powerful our God is . Thanks for sharing that !

  4. We buried the earthly body of my father in law Friday and we will return to AZ for my brother in law services next Friday.
    We know they are with the Lord but mourn their loss.

  7. I am always amazed when the exact message I need to be reminded about is presented so directly. I am feeling anxious about a situation at work tomorrow , and today’s verse reminds me how silly I am being. He is there always. Praise the Lord , ” I will never leave you nor forsake”. That is always the answer that immediately gives comfort and relief.

  9. Such a beautiful song Cyndi. We all saw War Room last night… so powerful!! I am a huge believer in the power of prayer and this just solidified it even more. We all need our own “War Rooms” .
