Happy hump day! We are spending the week at the beach so I’m wearing “the Target style dress” I shared a few weeks ago.
I was on the fence on whether to keep it or take it back. Since I knew we were headed to Florida in the fall, I decided to keep it.
It’s different, but it’s comfortable and perfect for Florida weather. I wore it out to dinner last night and I added my denim jacket later in the evening.
Several people said I should add a belt to the dress so I did and I added some long tassel earrings for fun.
We have been eating seafood, laying at the beach, and taking a lot of long walks! That’s my idea of a perfect vacation.

Today it’s sunny and warm so I’ll be in my swimsuit most of the day. Tomorrow I’m going to join some other fashion bloggers and share fringe styles for fall!

Do you need to wear a slip under that? It looks rather thin and wondered what you did to take care of that.
I’ve just started to follow your blog and was wondering if you can tell me your height? I’m 42 and 5’8″. It’s hard to find clothes I really like that work for my height. Just curious how tall you are so I can kind of compare what your outfits might look like on me 🙂

Cyndi, this looks great on you. What size are you wearing? How would you style this with footwear other than sandals? I am going to a celebration at one of our plants in Texas and we can’t wear sandals, must be a closed toe shoe or boot. Where did you get the belt? Thanks.
Hey Jan, I’m wearing a medium. I think you could style this with an ankle boot. I would probably do tan so it didn’t stand out.
