25 Days of Winter Fashion (Day 1)-Styling a Faux Fur Vest

Fur vest with purseWelcome to Day 1 of our 25 Days of Winter Fashion! I’m thrilled to be partnering again with my friend Jo-Lynne Shane as we share all kinds of fun winter and holiday fashion.

winterfashion25days (1)I don’t know about you, but I love to dress up this time of  the year! We have a lot of activities to attend over the next several weeks and I thought this faux fur vest would be perfect for the holidays.

If you’ve been wanting to try the faux fur vest trend, this one is a cropped version, it’s not as bulky and would work for you petite gals. It also comes in black if you prefer a solid color.

fur vest with gray skirt 2I love the bow detail on this handbag. It’s cute and feminine. I’m wearing an initial bracelet I purchased at Macy’s. I love anything with an initial on it and I’ve purchased several for gifts. This would be a great stocking stuffer!

Beauty For the Heart~~Welcome to my Beauty for the heart section! If you’re new around here, I always share something for our inner beauty.

I believe beauty starts on the inside and shines through. I believe all women were created unique and no matter our size, hair color or our age, God created us beautifully.

For me personally, my inner beauty begins with my relationship with Christ. I am striving for more of the fruit of the spirit to be evident in my life!

Galatians 5:22-23 says, But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

I hope you’ll join me as we strive to be beautiful from the inside out!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, I found you by accident the day you started your fall countdown.
Love your fashion sense… In fact YOU are M Y stitch fit! When I see something I like that you style…I go online and purchase it. Just got home from Target with the vest in my bag…we also must be the same size. So I figure if it looks good on you, it will me too! Here’s hoping you will style some dress pants. I so need them! I’m skinny jeaned to death! lol. Looking forward to tomorrow….and tomorrow…😊

  2. You hit a home run with this Cyndi. I am so glad to see you style something that is not everyday wear — I can usually manage that. Love this fresh idea for an event or dressier occasion.

  3. So Thankful for the post. I have been needing skirt ideas. I Love the black and gray. I never wear ivory or cream it doesn’t look that well on me and have wore light colors all year. Love these winter posts. You nailed this one! Blessings

  4. So excited for 25 Days of Winter Outfits! Something new to look forward to everyday!

I’m wondering if anyone else is having difficulty with the website? I “cleaned my cache” (which I didn’t even know was a thing!), but I am getting stuck constantly and getting the message that the website is “not responding”. I’m trying to determine if this is just my computer being super slow, or if it may be the website itself????

    Thanks so much!

        1. I’ve been having this problem on and off since the “upgrade”. Gald to know it’s not just me. I assumed it’s just the media rich stuff, although I have a fairly new, very powerful computer.

  5. What a fabulous outfit! You look stunning. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your posts showing great outfits at reasonable prices.

  6. 7 for All Mankind Kind has started reproducing my favorite flare jeans of all time….Dojo. They come in original and tailorless (meaning a shorter inseam for us not so tall girls!).

  7. Hi Cyndi,
Love your outfits…. dressy & casual ! You look very stunning and as always I love your styles, as they are my kind of fashion! Could you style something in cream? I have this new outfit that I put together with bluejeans and thin cream sweater with under cami … and was wondering to pair it with tall med brown riding boots or a pair of fuzzy cream-ish med height boots…. or would that be too much cream color?
