It’s Day 15 of 25 Days of Winter Fashion! Today I’m sharing a casual holiday dress that I’m wearing to a Christmas party next week.
I have so many get togethers in the next few weeks so I thought I would share outfits during the 25 Days of Winter Fashion that I’m going to wear.
This swing dress from Old Navy is perfect for my party. I love wearing casual dresses especially when they’re comfortable enough to wear all day. Did I mention it’s on sale for $26?!
I added black boots and a black chunky knit scarf from Target.
I also added a silver necklace from Glamour Farms.
I’m carrying an older black clutch and I have two silver bracelets, one from LOFT and the other one is from Glamour Farms.
Have I mentioned how much I love Christmas parties?

Beauty For the Heart~~Last night in Bible Study, we talked about some verses in Titus. The end of Titus 2:14 caught my attention.
While we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
If we are to be like Christ, we need to be eager to do good. Can we all admit, we need to do good in this world!
Today, let’s be women that are eager to do good. With our family, with our friends and with strangers we meet.

This is so cute. I ordered it in a medium but it looks frumpy. Did you order a petite small or just a small. Wondering if I need a petite? I am 5’5″ and don’t normally order petite. Thanks
Jen I’m 5’6′ and I ordered a small not a petite. I think it looks best with a statement piece, like a necklace or a scarf.

Are the boots you are wearing in this post black suede? The link to the Chinese Laundry boots look a little more like slouch type boots, just wondering is that what you have on in this picture?

Super cute – I talked my co-worker (great friend) into this from Old Navy about a month ago (since I seem to have scooped up every other dress from Old Navy this season). It is super cute on her – as it is on you 🙂 I am thinking I might need the blue one…..lol.

Is this a small in reg or petite? Both are listed on their website. I think we are about the same size if I remember from one of your previous posts;)
This is a small in petite. It fits me really good but if anyone is bustier (is that a word??) I think the small would be tight.

Just got my dresses–ordered the gray and rust. Fit absolutely perfect! I ordered petite small. You replied to me that you ordered a sm petite too, but I just noticed that earlier today you replied to someone that you did NOT order a petite! It was a comment at 10:33 on 12/14. May want to clarify for her 🙂
I saw this dress at Old Navy and wondered how it looked on. You wear it very well. I will have to go back over there and give it a try.
P.S. The gray also looks good with brown. I know you’re just showing what YOU wore, I’m just throwing out more options. That’s always my problem: too many options to choose from! 🙂
Teresa you read me mind. I wanted to style it with brown boots and a plaid scarf with some tan in it. That would be a more casual look but still super cute!!

Really cute! I’d love to see it without the scarf or a less heavy one incorporating a bit of gray, and I’m a scarf person! I’ve had a similar dress for years and sometimes wear it belted and also with strapped chunky heeled shoes for another look. Your zipped boots would also be great. I’m so enjoying everything about these posts.

Really cute on you and I may have to go try this on. These style dresses tend to look like maternity wear on me – 5’2, and at 52 no one needs to even think I may be “with child” LOL!!
I liked one of the comments about adding a red purse b/c I too love red during the holidays, of course you wouldn’t know it b/c I only have one red sweater. I may have to work on that today :-).

Sharon I think the taller the better with these dresses. I’m 5’6″. My husband said it looked maternity, but he likes more fitted dresses. Ha!!

You made me laugh, umm…. yes I’m wearing something under it. 🙂 But I think you might mean a slip?? I’m not wearing a slip, it’s not see through and I’m not wearing a tank but I could easily add a tank for warmth.

I LOVE this dress too….remind me again how tall you are. I’m 5’7″ and fairly long legs and I always get concerned that a dress like this ends up being too short looking but I guess when paired with thick tights/leggings less so. Thanks!
